Thread: Unfair Sibsets
June 29th, 2012 12:26 PM #1
There are a lot of unfair sibsets out in this world. You know, when one sibling has an awesome or beautiful name, and the other one has a boring or ugly one? Like, when one sister's named Juliet and the other Olga?
I know a pair of twins named Starling and Alison "Ali"--Starling always complains because everyone thinks her name is weird. Then there was Anthony, Angela, and Marian. Poor Marian got the M-rated name while her brother and sister got A+ names!
Sometimes life isn't fair. Do you know any real-life sibsets like this?Eva ♡teenberry, dancer, book lover, tv obsesser, and musical theatre geek

With all the sibset threads out there I think this issue is more important.
To me it's less important if siblings names match or have similar origins or letters and more important that they are equal in strangeness and in beauty.Olivia/Livia/Livy/Liv : Thessaly/Darah/Bethel : Noelle/Eve
Benedict/Eli: Jude/Zane: Luke/Darius : Levi/Phineas/Calvin

pet peeves: nicknames as given names; unconventional spellings; masculine names on girls
not-so-guilty pleasures: five-syllable girls' names; virtue and nature names; over-the-top antique names for boys
(if i repeat name suggestions in a thread, it's because i like them! no apologies here for repeats of great names! )
