    First baby - it's a boy!

    My husband and I would like to announce the arrival of our first child, Cyrus Gale on June 23, 2012. His gender was a suprise until birth and we had selected the name Magdalen Colette for a girl. Cyrus's middle name is now a 3rd generation family name. My mom's middle name is Abigail, mine is Gail.

    He was 8 days late and weighed 9 pounds! He has the chubbiest cheeks and almost no hair. Cyrus has already brought us so much excitment and joy.

    I remember seeing your signature in a thread recently and hoping I'd see you in the birth announcements! Congratulations! Cyrus Gale is a handsome, robust choice--so glad he's living up to it.
    I think Magdalen is a lovely choice for a girl. Maybe someday...

    What a different name, yet elegant and nice! It's funny because Cyrus is Miley's last name, and Gale is the character her fiancé, Liam Hemsworth, played in The Hunger Games!
