Opinions on a middle name for Milena

I think the hubs and I have finally decided on a first name for our fourth girl - Milena. We love the nn possibilities, Mila, Lena or even Millie. However, now I am starting to rethink our middle name we originally chose. Our three older girls all have one of our grandmothers' names for their middle - Elise Evelyn, Sadie Marcella and Lydia Mary, which leaves the fourth grandmother, Rose. It's not that I don't like Rose, but it's a filler name. I also have a filler name for my middle name, Marie. I thought about putting the two middle names together and using Rosemarie... My other problem is that a lot of my husband's relatives have used Rose over and over, and my even neice's middle name is Rosemarie. Now I am thinking about the possibility of Charlotte for a middle name. We have decided this will be our last baby and my husband has always wanted to name a son after his dad. Well, his dad's middle name is Charles, so Charlotte is about as close as we can get... I also love the name Charlotte and would use it as a first name if it wasn't so darn popular. I just want opinions - do we stay with the little tradition we started with our first three girls or do we do something different???

    Milena Rosalind
    Milena Rosamund
    Milena Roselle
    Milena Rosanne
    Milena Penrose
    Milena Bellerose
    Milena Primrose (my favorite!)
    Milena Roisin (prn. RO-sheen)
    Milena Rosalie
    Milena Rosabelle

And many other Rose variants could honor your family while being original.

Hmm, not really sure I like the variations on "Rose." If we would do a variation, I would put it with Marie to make Rosemarie...

I love Milena Charlotte, but I think it would be awkward to honor 3 grandmothers and leave out the fourth when you could easily include her. Milena Rosemarie is a nice option, or Milena Roselle. Yes, Rose is a filler, but it's also a very nice name that has a special meaning to your family.
I don't have or want any kids. I just love names!

Top 10: Andrea, Chelsea, Tara, Brooke, Alexandra, Nathaniel, Cody, Grant, Alexander, Graham

I also love Russian and Irish names, as well as the names of many cities and countries.

I think if other family members have already honored Rose, then there is no harm in leaving her out. Milena will not feel left out because she also has a family name...and it's a special one because it's one you had been saving for a son! I think Milena Charlotte is great.

I dont think you should worry about popularity.... just name her what you love! I honestly dont think kids mind having a popular name. If you like Charlotte, why not name her Charlotte Rose and call her Charlie for a nickname? That would be sweet for your husband since he has all girls! If not, Milena Rose and Milena Charlotte are both VERY pretty!
