poll: top 10 boys

Just wondering which you would choose if you had to name a son using one of the top 10 most popular names. I know most of us are not a fan of popular names...just wondering if there's one you actually like, or which one you dislike the least.

Out of all of them, it'd be William.

I like them all except Jayden.... but since I had to pick, William would be my top choice.

I would use William. It would honor my Dad so I would use it for him. I wouldn't touch the others.

The only one I wouldn't consider is Jayden which I think is more of a modern invention than a real name. Jadon IS a Biblical name but Jayden is just two popular sounds smooshed together.

William, then Michael. The only one I hate is Jayden.

I like Noah, Ethan and Aidan, and would consider them if they weren't so crazy popular. I do like Michael, William, Alexander, Mason and Daniel but not as much. Jacob is ok. Jayden is just NMS.

Noah is my top choice but I also really love Ethan, Daniel, and Alexander.

Our son was very nearly William, so that's the one I picked. I also would consider using Noah and Jacob. None of the others.

It's between William and Daniel for me, but I chose William. I don't know a single William who's actually called William (though I know plenty of older gentlemen called Bill), so it doesn't sound as popular to me as it actually is. And it's classic, handsome and distinguished. As I said, I love Daniel, too, but I know more Daniels.
I like all the others, excepting Mason and Jayden, but not enough to consider using them (unless in some unforeseen future, my future husband loves one.)
