Trying to make a list
I would ultimately love to have 2 girl names we love, 1 with the MN Violet and 1 with the MN Evelyn or Valentine. I am drawn to names ending in A, and DH is picky so I need some help!
So far we like
Annora (nora)
Cora
Eden
Gwen (maybe Guinevere or Gwendolyn? They seem a bit frilly for DH’s taste, so he might change his mind by morning)
*We are avoiding names that started with K, Z, R, F, J and anything sounding too much like Aaron.
*Avoid names in the top 100.
*Avoiding traditionally boy names and unisex names since we hope to name our next boy Finley and I do not want there to be any issues.
Thanks in advance!
Our Vetoed list (of what I can remember, we have been going at it for awhile now):
Aurora
Willa
Cordelia
Emmeline
Annabel
Tessa
Annika
Thalia
Coralie -Too close to Finley
Coraline -Hate the movie
Ruby -Does not work with our last name (R) but DH loves it and insists she will probably get married one day so our last name issue does not really matter in the long run.
Rowen - R issue again and unisex

Merida - Probably not with the new movie Brave
Ginvera (ginny)
Ginevra (ginny) - DH hates hard to pronounce names, but will ask, cause I love Ginny
Yvette -eh... I seem to not like "ette" names
Yvonne/Evonne -NN would be Voni, a NN of a girl at church I do not want to duplicate
Allison -top 100
Viola -DH’s grandma’s name. This is where we got Violet actually. Since I like A ending names, I pretty much gave up using it as a MN.
Twyla - 80’s singer (most people would not know, but my family would)
Milena - DH vetoed
Mila - DH vetoed
Juliet - not a fan
Madeline - top 100
Mona - moan
Lark - pretty well tell you know DH would veto
Bernadette - DH would NN her Berny right away.. :/
Perdita - means lost
Priscilla - too prissy feeling, lol
Dh just got home with the boys, so after he finishes up some stuff and I get the boys off to bed we will talk names.
My current love it Sylvia Viola - I know both end in a A but is it too sing-songy or can we get away with it?
