Opinions wanted!

Hi I'm expecting a little boy 12/1/12 and I have a daughter called Edith (Edie) Nadejda. We're looking for a more formal name with a nn or a name that's easy to picture on somebody of any age and not too trendy..the middle name will be Radley.

He tolerates Beau and Cyrus but he doesn't love either. Any suggestions or opinions?

I concur with previous posts about Beau Radley. I love Edith! If you're trying to avoid trendy, I would steer away from Mason, as it is the #2 name on the SSA list from last year. Of your choices, I like Alden and Samuel the best. Some other ideas are:

Everett Radley(nn Rhett)
Nolan Radley
Simon Radley
Maxwell Radley

I like Alden and Alcott with Edith. Alden Samuel Radley sounds like a solid name. Nickname--Aldi?

Alden Radley jumps out to me as a great combo. Mason Radley also has a nice sound to it. And I agree with pps about Beau -- the first thing that popped into my head was Boo Radley. Strongly recommend against that one.

I liked Beau the most, until I read other peoples warnings against it...having made it to 26 without ever having read "To Kill A Mockingbird" the connection just wasn't there!
