Julietta I love Mariella too! I think its so pretty, whimsical, fairytale-ish & I can totally picture a little ballerina called Mariella. Nicknames we would use would either be Maisy or Mari.

Missriss-Rosemary is lovely too with the nn Rose, Rosie or Rosie May. Only thing that puts me off is I do not like it pronounced Rosemarie. I like the emphasis on the Mary

Gblondie-thanks for the comments, I do love Mariella best myself & as said above from day to day use we will drop the ella & call her Mari, Maisy or May.

Whit32 I like Marina too but not as much as Molly or Mariella. Marina is very classic & I think its quite royal sounding too but its not one of my favourites

I keep chopping & changing between Mariella or Molly. I think Mariella is so feminine & pretty, yet Molly is so warm & familiar sounding....ahhhhh these decisions....

I'm still voting for Rosemary Catherine, I think it's so classy and pretty. Molly Catherine would be a distant second. I love Molly, but there is something special about Rosemary Catherine. Good luck!

Thanks Svea, I know Rosemary is gorgeous but 2 things turn me off 1. Rosemary's Baby(horror film) 2. the majority of people pronounce it Rosemarie which I don't like..

Shannon I think I'm leaning towards Molly again, its leaps ahead in the poll. What I'm liking about Molly is that there is no chance of it being mis-prounounced, its warm & cosy, a strong name with its own identity... My fear with Marina is that people will call her Maria & she will spend her whole life correcting them. Same fear with Mariella, people will call her Mary-ella instead of Marie-lla & it might be a bit of a mouthful. Molly probably is the simpliest, cutest & straightforward of my choices?
