    Ian ?

What do you think of Ian?
I really like it, but it's too common. We don't want anything in the top 100, so I guess it's out unless it drops A LOT in popularity.

But maybe Ian could work as a nickname?? Does it only work as a nickname for names ending in -ian, or is there something else which I've missed? What's your favorite -ian name?

Yes, love Ian! That would be one I would use regardless of popularity. But if I had to chose a longer name for it, I'd chose Caspian

Love Ian. It's a MN on my boys' list, Avery Ian George, but it honors family for me.

For a longer name, I really like Sebastian (which is also top 100, unfortunately!), Caspian, Finnian, Aurelian (love!), Valerian, Julian, etc. Sebastian and Aurelian are probably my favorites.

    Good luck!

I like Ian on it's own, as well as a nickname for something like Adrian.
