Opinions on Middles! (Natalie & Annika)
First and Foremost, thank you to everyone that posted in my thread about Middles for Natalie! We still haven't been able to narrow down the list too far, but do have a good solid list of ones we like, (not sure about love yet!) and would love to hear your opinions and ideas! Also, we've tossed another name onto the list for first names, and would love your opinions on middles for it too! Feel free to suggest more names, remember, we are thinking Whimsical, so some of them are a bit out there, while some of them aren't! (I'll note which ones are for Family!) Last name is Z@ch@ruk, zah-car-uck. Also, do you think Annika and Natalie would make a good sibset for sisters?
Natalie Eleanor
Natalie Jane - (Jane for my mother Janet)
Natalie Winter
Natalie Fawn
Natalie Odessa
Natalie Araminta
Natalie Ginevra
Natalie Quinn
Natalie Mazarine
Natalie March
Natalie Margaux (For my grandmother Margaret)

Natalie Virginia
Pronounced Ah-nicka, (Andrew dislikes that Ann-icka pronunciation) I love the rhythm that comes with an A first name, and an I or E middle!
Annika Eleanor
Annika Evelyn
Annika Evolet
Annika Marigold
Annika Corisande
Annika Cadeau
Annika Irene (My middle, and my grandmothers name)

June 24th, 2012 12:31 AM #7Mother of three teenagers: (1) Daniel Glen, (2) Timothy Austin, and (3) Rebecca Jane... all middle names honor family... 3rd generation mn Jane. (A second girl would have been Susanna Eve and a third boy, maybe Isaac...)

Natalie and Annika seem mismatched as a sibset. Natalia would work better, I think - they are both exotic sounding. Natalie is lovely, but is more of a classic sounding name, and would be well matched with something like Hanna or Annabelle...
You have some super cute middle names though!
I like Natalie Winter and Annika Cadeau. Very Christmas-y.
I also like Annika Evolet.

You all aren't making this easier haha, the responses are just as torn as I am. I am kind of saving the family names as fall-backs in case we can't find the perfect whimsical middle. Annika Irene and Natalie Jane will be the mostly likely pair in that case!
In regards to ann-ika vs. ahn-ika, Andrew would never go for Ann-ika, he says it makes him think Anakin, as in Skywalker, which isn't a bad reference, but we were thinking more Ahn-ika as in Seven of Nine. /geek
I love Natalia, and it speaks to our cultural backgrounds better, but we just like Natalie more for whatever reason. Which kind of sucks, because it's much easier to find a middle for Natalia. For some reason Natalie feels cute and sweet to me, while Natalia, sounds like she could be announced on Pole number 3 alongside Nadia.
Love Natalie Winter and Annika Cadeau as a sibset so far! The combos really go well with eachother! Thanks Niteowl!

Natalie is definitely the first choice, I'm just trying to figure out a top 3 first name and middle combinations with Natalie, Annika and unknown name #3, but it's so difficult, girls names are so hard for me!!! In the last year alone I've gone through at least 10 combos that I thought were 'the ones' until some time passed and the appeal faded.
Examples:
Tegan Frances
Linnea Jane
Vienna Paige
Odessa Jane
Althea Caro
Jubilee Brynn
Corisande Elene/Hermione
Valencia Anne
Amabel Ivy
Quinn Annaliese
and the list goes on! My taste doesn't seem to stay in one place for long at all and never stays the same either. Pretty sure I'm not meant to name a daughter at this rate! I'm just hoping at least Natalie sticks for a good long long time, (like, until I have an 18 year old Natalie!) I'm already unsure about Annika! In Love, Engaged, and Fantasizing about Future Babies!!
