I really like all these except Heidi. That one doesn't stand out to me. I voted for my 3 favs, Sabine, Bianca and Linnea. Sabine esp prnd Sabina, I just absolutely love. Liesel and Marika are nice too, but I felt I should limit my votes somewhat. Bianca sounds so sophisticated and special to me. And I know a sweet Linnea who is an older lady. Also makes me think of the childrens book, Linnea in Monets Garden.

I've loved Liesel since I saw "The Sound of Music" as a kid.
I don't have or want any kids. I just love names!

Top 10: Andrea, Chelsea, Tara, Brooke, Alexandra, Nathaniel, Cody, Grant, Alexander, Graham

I also love Russian and Irish names, as well as the names of many cities and countries.

    I love Heidi and Bianca.

Marika sounds like a mispronunciation of America.

I think if you want the pronunciation Sabina that's how you should spell it. The Sabine were historically remembered as a group of women who were abducted and raped.....

Liesel is a beautiful name but it sounds exceptionally German to me, since it's so rare in the US. It's similar to me to being Chinese and naming your child Thor, unless of course you're German.

Linnea is pretty and unusual. I've never heard it before as a girls first name, reminds me of the botanist guy who latinized his name (Linnaeus).

I voted Sabine, love it. Also Linnea. I would have voted Bianca as well, but a character in a programme in the UK has ruined it for me.

The Sabine women were not raped, they were abducted, it was a mistranslation from the Roman. They also managed to negotiate with their captors and save their men and allow the two tribes to live in peace, so it's not necessarily a negative connection. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Rap...e_Sabine_Women

    I picked Bianca and Liesel.
I love Bianca but in terms of use it has been thoroughly ruined by a character in an unfathomably popular British soap.
