I don't have or want any kids. I just love names!
Top 10: Andrea, Chelsea, Tara, Brooke, Alexandra, Nathaniel, Cody, Grant, Alexander, Graham
I also love Russian and Irish names, as well as the names of many cities and countries.

I of course vote for Delaney...but I'm biased because that is my oldest daughters name. She goes by Laney sometimes but not always. I call her Lane a lot (but no one else really does). I always introduce her as Delaney and she goes by Delaney at school (there was another Delaney in her class this year...to distinguish between the two one went by Laney and one went by Delaney) But if you don't like Laney, I'd probably avoid it. But I do want to say that I love her name and couldn't picture her as any of the other names we considered (Allison, Natasha, Bridgett and Ryley....that I remember...lol)
Do you like Alaina as an alternative? Laney is a less obvious nn for that one.
As for Chelsea..I like it okay...but I don't have any great associations with it.
Suggestions:
Michaela
Allison

Hi it is great to have you on nameberry. In regards to Chelsea it nearly made me cry when someone I know named her daughter Chelsea it just doesn't have any charisma for me.
Delaney is a pretty name and here are some more
Bellamy with the pretty nn of Belle
Avalon with the gorgeous nn of Ava
if you don't want a popular nn then the above suggestions are not for you.
I also like the suggestion of Darcy which in my opinion has well and truly gone to the girls.
Is Isla (eye lah) too vintage for you? I love this name and feel that it has very modern vibes.
Or
Skye
Oceane (too OTT?)
Fern
Fleur
Juliet (one of the prettiest names ever)
Jane if you want a less frilly name
Vivian nn of Vivi
Piper
Matilda nn Mattie
Ainsley
Georgia a stunner
Raina or Raine
Elke (prnd as Elle kah)
Giana
Tessa
Andrea
Mimi either as a full name or as a nn for the beautiful Amelia
Leonie (not my style)
Blake (sorry to see this being used for girls)
Chandler
Britt or May Britt for a Danish flavour
Bryony
Brynn
Olivia
Gina
Peta
Martine
Marcelle
Lacey
Kerry
Casey
Demi (Demetria)
Sacha
rollo
