    WDYT of Thatcher?

What thoughts come to mind when you hear the name Thatcher? Is it trendy, or is it unique enough to miss the trendy curve? Does it pair well with a sister named Sloane?

    Thanks!

(I have already considered the Grey's Anatomy association between Sloane & Thatcher.)

I think of Margaret Thatcher. Don't know what else I'm supposed to think of. My husband would be unbearable. He hates her.

In fact just the other day he shared a quote from a friend, "At Thatcher's funeral, I hope Britain saves on costs by giving every Scotsman a shovel. We'll deliver her to Satan ourselves!"

I like the sound of Thatcher, but so many people seem to think of Margaret Thatcher. I prefer Fletcher (sounds the same, is an occupational name)...

I think it is cute with Sloane. I thought of the character Thatcher Grey from Grey's Anatomy first before I thought of Margaret Thatcher.

I love Thatcher. It's unique, but not crazy or invented. I always liked Thatcher Grey, before I even knew it was associated with Grey's Anatomy. I think Thatcher is an adorable name for a little boy, but also one he can grow up to as an adult.

Thatcher William used to be one of my most favorite combos, I still love it! I don't get why people automatically go to Margaret Thatcher, it took me forever to realize the connection even when it was my favorite. I wouldn't dwell on it. Mayyyybe if you were naming a girl Thatcher....

Thatcher is my fav boys name, I wouldve used it this time if I wasnt so set on a J name... Anyways, I think it bypasses trendy and is more unique and preppy. Completely fits with Sloane! Sloane has always been a favorite of mine as well.
Kinda disappointed that Margaret Thatcher is such a negative association. I guess that depends on your politics. Being in the states, I dont even think that association should come into play. However, if it did, its a positive one for me
Im intrigued that there is a Thatcher Grey character. I dont watch it so I wouldnt know.
Funny cuz Thatcher Gray would be a real possibility if I ever have another boy! Hope this helps!
