Australian Berries -what do you deem popular/common?

It seems that Australia has little to none data publicly released on names e.g beyond the top 100, how many times a name has been used, state and territory statistics etc etc

But I'm curious, and although I found some great infomation from looking at the waltzing more than matilda site and various others it feels like there isn't enough to determine what is a common name.

Since we are a small country in terms of population, its sort of impossible to compare to the UK and the USA in terms of the top 100 and beyond.

And I think its right to say that a name in the top 10 is super popular, and perhaps even the top 20-30 or so. But what about beyond that? Its sort of fuzzy.

I have also been looking at the NSW 110 years of baby names site, which only goes to 2010 and although it is useful it does not mean that applies to all states and territories.

So berries, I'll open this up to everyone who has an idea of the Australian stats and data and who have better research methods than I (Its not hard to).

    The Ever-Changing List:

Eleanor | Isobel | Susanna "Sosie" | Lydia | Claire

Theon | Ezra | Alexander "Xan" | Gideon | Kit

I think that the Huggies site has more upto date info on the names eg they probably have the 2011 name list. Good Luck.

NSW Births Deaths and marriages has the top 100 for boys and girls, it goes back to 1996.
I have put girls into a data table on excel so I could work out which names repeated as 'continual favourites' and which names peaked then crashed and burned. If you want me to look up a particular name/s let me know.
Search for "Victoria Births deaths and marriages names" as Victoria also has the same type of thing- dating back to 1929.
Qld has one- but limited use 2007-11.
Those should get you a overall view of what is popular around Australia.

I don't know about the stats, but if I personally meet one more Ethan or Isabella, I'm going to scream (on the inside).
