    Welcome to Nameberry, Emme's Momma!

Willoughby is my favorite three-syllable boys' name at the moment ... Willoughby Tate [or] Willoughby Jasper.

    Alasdair
    Mordecai
    Zebulon
    Gavriel
    Gideon
    Phinneas
Dominic (ok I just like it, it's not that uncommon)
Benzion - pr. ben-zee-on, an obscure family name of mine.
    Thaddeus
    Azariah
    Lysander
    Finnegan
Nathanael - Same as Dominic, not all that rare.
    Cassiel
    Zadkiel
Raphael - Same as Dominic, not all that rare.

I must say my actual prospective 3-syllable name I plan to use for my firstborn son isn't really "unique" at all. It's a fairly well-known name hovering in the low end of the Top 100 and everyone knows how to say it and most people can spell it. I love it for its sound, nicknames, and meaning, but it's not rare.

It's Jonathan. Gavriel, Phinneas, and Zebulon were nixed by my husband, and Benzion is too close to his name. Lysander (NN Sander) has managed to stay in the fight but we're pretty sure we're going to go with Jonathan NN Jon for a firstborn son. Some of the others I find very usable for more boys if we have them though. (And I hope we do!)

Elias is a good name if you're going for alliteration with Emme
