    Full name for nickname Tea?

    Hi berries,

I really like the name Tea (taya) but I would rather it be a nickname for a longer name. I began liking it as a nickname for Dorotea, but I can't get my husband on board with that one. Any other names that you think Tea could be a nickname for? Thanks!

I can't think of a longer name that would give you the pronunciation of Taya. I do know a woman who has that pronunciation and her full name is Taiya.

I think Taya as a name on it's own is fine, if you live in the states, Tea would be said teeeee, like in teabag....

I don't know if it's a nn for anything but here are some names that might work:
    Taylor
    Teodora
    Thaddea
    Our Cats:
    Calcifer & Mittzy

    Top Names
    Luna ~ Flora ~ Euphemia ~ Caroline ~ Artemis
    Ezra ~ Severus ~ Everett ~ Llewellyn ~ Sasha

I would say Mattea for sure! Teagan is nice too, but with the other pronounciation of Tea of course.

I like the suggestion of Teodora. I prefer Teodora to Theodora. I think it has a prettier sound. And the first two syllables sound like Tea.

I also love Mattea as a way to Tea, but actress Téa Leoni seems to do just fine with just that.
