    Talking Finally Decided on....Fifer Ginevra....thoughts??

So I've been thinking a lot about my name list and I've decided to just drop my all of the names and look for something new- something I love more. Well I finally found it! Fifer. Now, I've never been a fan of the name Piper...but for some reason Fifer is just so much prettier and soft sounding to me....The only problem now is my family thinks I have gone completely nuts oh well!

As for the middle name...I was just looking on the home page of Nameberry when I saw at the top: Ginevra. I thought it looked different and clicked on it. I am officially addicted to it now! But not nearly as much as Fifer

So that is how Fifer Ginevra was chosen...

Anyways! Just wondering what you berries think? Are there any bad associations I should watch out for? Honest opinions please! I want to know how it will perceived outside of my family and friends.

    Thank You Berries!!

I like it. I think I might prefer Fifer on a boy...don't know why ^_^

I think the names go well together and I think it's interesting but not weird.

I agree with pp on it seeming like a boy's name. Sorry, I just don't see anything feminine about it and I find it really strange as a name.

    Ginevra I love though; beautiful.

I could see Fifer ending up being an issue if the child has a speech problem one day. But other than that, I'm not in love with it, but I definitely don't hate it! Fifer is a nice name, but not my style really. I love Ginevra nn Ginny, and would prefer Ginevra Fifer, as it feels like it flows better.

I love it! I find Fifer so much spunkier than Piper. I admit I would probably use Piper over Fifer, but I absolutely adore both, and Fifer Ginevra is great! Ginevra's the Italian form of Genevieve, correct? I believe it was Ginny's full name in HP, but I don't know that that's really a negative association... I'm not a HP fan, never was, but I don't think most people see it as a negative or weird association anymore.

    Good luck!

I hate to say it but I think the child will spend her whole life saying "No not Piper, my name is Fifer, with a F" I have a friend named Loie and is constantly called Chole, drives her nuts.

Fifer is super cute. Not exactly my style, but it has tons of energy and life, I like that you went with a more feminine but equally unique middle name to balance it.

not particularly my style, but I like it. It's nice to hear a bit of a "different name" for a change. Although I prefer the other spelling to Fifer.
