Giselle? Penelope? Phoebe? Seraphina? Need name for fourth child to match sibset...
I have three amazing children all four and under. I am very busy, like all u moms, and would really appreciate some name suggestions. I have somewhat of a theme going with my 2 daughters' names. They are Kate Lynn Evangeline (she prefers Kate Lynn), and Juliet Liv Emmeline. As u can tell the second and third names are similar and I would like to keep this theme going forward with our third daughter... I was thinking the 2 mn's could be Love (she was conceived on Valentine's
and Imogen. My son's name is Kyler Matthew, his first name is a blend of his daddy's and his god-father's names, and it means "church". I don't mind if Kyler's name is considered in this sibset because it's already different from the rest. My last name is 3 syllables and starts with a K.
Kate Lynn's nn is Kit Kat, Juliet's nn is Jules, Kyler's nn is Kye.
I like Seraphina nn Fifi or Siri, Giselle nn Gigi, Penelope (Poppy), Jade, and Phoebe, but I'm open to suggestions. If I ended up naming her Seraphina she'd only have one mn, and a shorter one or two syllables. Any thoughts or opinions would be found very helpful, thank u in advance.

Thanks norseberry! I really do admire the impeccable taste u berries have in picking names. The suggestion of Seraphine Love Eiizabeth is great. I like that u kept with the mn theme. I just asked my husband what he thought about the name and he didn't immediately toss it out the window, so there's a chance. I'd enjoy some more suggestions though, keep 'em coming.

Welcome to Nameberry!
From your list, I recommend Juliet, Kate [and] Phoebe.
Another idea for you ...
julieT, kaTe [and] margareT / margueriTe
... classic names ending with a "t" sound.

I also prefer Seraphine to Seraphina. But I think it sounds better in your Evangeline/Emmeline position (not sure if you were going for E names or similar sounds/feel). Have you perhaps thought of:
Imogen Love Seraphine
Giselle Love Seraphine
Penelope Love Seraphine
Jade Love Seraphine
Phoebe Love Seraphine
Clara Love Seraphine
Eliza Love Seraphine
Zoe Love Seraphine
Chloe Love Seraphine
Elsa Love Seraphine

Great ideas girls! Lori - I think that you are right on about Phoebe being the best suited first with the other girls names. I didn't see it myself though until now. I like your suggestion of another first name 'classic' like the others.- Never knew they were classic names! But I knew several old ladies named Margaret, Marguerite growing up and I just can't shake that image to consider it. Love the 't' ending though!
Bluejuniper - thanks for the reply and all of the great suggestions! Putting Seraphine in the middle was something I hadn't thought of before. I like Phoebe Love Seraphine a lot! I enjoyed your other first name options especially Diedra, but the meaning 'sorrow' is quite a drag. I also like Clara, I had considered it for my daughter Juliet.
I would like to know what you berries think about another 'J' name to finish the K,K,J... J thought? Is that just silly of me trying to keep the first initial similarities going? And can u think of any energetic, slightly exotic 'J' names? My four year old LOVES the name Jasmine. Of course because of the princess! But we are a fair-skinned, blonde haired, blue-eyed family
Doesn't fit us...

Thanks ellenelle - I like Jessamine but am not sure how to pronounce it. JESS-a-min or JESS-a-meen? Jaculeen, pronounced how it's spelled, was on my short list for a while. I recently thought about Josephine, or Josephina, as well because it's my husbands aunt's name. Not quite my style though. I guess I need more opinions about the best 'suited' name for the rest of the sibset, not the initial matching suggestions. I suppose I've already talked myself out of baby #4 having a J name (I don't really LOVE any of the options out there). We did talk about Juniper shortly... still like it. What do u think?
Opinions? Any other french first names that are still really recognizable in America that I'm forgetting?Last edited by heatkro; June 20th, 2012 at 07:20 PM.
