Inspiration-
James, Holland, Benjamin
Priscilla, Kathleen, Bess
Boy Suggestions:
Jack- I love Jack, but there are already 2 Jacks in my extended family, so would rather not use it.
Oliver- Great name, but wouldn't work with our last name.
Henry- See Oliver
Matthew- Great name!
Thomas- Love Thomas, dislike Tom. I'd probably avoid it just b/c I know most would naturally shorten it to Tom.
Nathaniel- Ehh. I don't love it, don't hate it.
William- Like Thomas, I really like William, but am not as fond of Will for some reason.
Girl Suggestions:
Charlotte- Beautiful name, but I'm not sure I'd use it.
Ava- Don't love it, don't hate it.
Anna- Much prefer Ann/Anne
Eve- LOVE!
Joanna- It feels a bit old to me; I think I'd like Johannah better.
Katherine- This name is classic and beautiful. It's hard to go wrong with Katharine. That being said, I've never considered using it.
Elsa- This was a surprise; didn't expect to see this name. It feels a bit clunky to me, not feminine enough for my taste.
Caroline- See Katherine

Suggestions:
Ella : This is too nicknamey for me. I'd only use it as a nn for Eleanor/Elena. At that, I prefer the nn's Nora and Lainey for those names. Its very bland to me.
Owen : Way too common and trendy. Eoin/Eoghan is appealing, though.
Jack : This is okay. I like it a lot, but it doesn't excite me the way other names on my list do.
Amelia : I vastly prefer Amelie, which is on my list. Amelia is a bit fluffy and pretentious, almost attention seeking. Amelie is softer, and more feminine and subtle.
Violet : A name that was once extremely high on my list that I know think is quite harsh a sound. I'd still use as a middle name though.
Everett : I don't buy into the surname as first name trend, so this isn't for me.
Emma : A great name but way too popular and I have awful personal associations so this would never make my list.
Olivia : Far too popular for my tastes.
Edgar : I find Edgar clunky and unappealing. I much prefer Edward.
Grace : This is my own name lol.
James : An absolute classic, so handsome, on my list.
Louise : So chic and sophisticated, I love this. It should be on my list.
Elizabeth : Nice and classy, though a bit bland
Oliver : Great. Just too popular.
Milo : I really cannot stand this name at all!
The only ones I like are Violet, James, Louise and Elizabeth. This wasn't very accurate for me.

Inspirations:
Roisin
Louisa
Melanie
Rhett
Seth
Caleb
Girls:
Leslie - much too unisex for my tastes
Sabrina - B really isn't my favorite letter, even though Caleb does end with B
Adah - sounds like Adam without the M
Elizabeth - the most normal name I like
Ella - too nicknamey for my tastes
Ava - love this already, minus its popularity
Mina - short for Wilhelmina?
Grace - really dislike the letter G
Boys:
Bo - short for...?
Noah - I knew an evil Noah in my elementary school - not an option for me
Jasper - It sounds like a bee sting
Shaun - as long as it's spelled Sean. But still, not a favorite
Oliver - if only my cousin wasn't named this awesome name
Jacob - sooooo popular
Sean - no fair nymbler! That's cheating!Proud author of Kissimmee, Orlando, Mary, Adam, Mississippi, Micah, Georgette, Evelyn, and so many many more

What was suggested:
Elizabeth- a nice name, but overused.
Nina- pretty and sweet. I like.
Elsa- meh, I don't like it very much.
Olivia- I prefer Livia. The O doesn't appeal to me.
Elise- not a favourite.
Claire- um. I'm sorry, but I just really dislike this.
Charlotte- sweet, classic and pretty. Love nns Char and Lottie.
Katy- I really prefer Kate.
Reid- not a huge fan.
Oliver- nice, but I don't think I'd use it.
Owen- it's all right.
Andy- depends on what it's short for. I like Anderson, but not Andrew so much.
Neil- it's okay.
Jay- seems like a middle-aged guy to me.
Alex- it's a nice name.I'm Erin, a teenaged writer who loves names (and dessert).

Inspirations:
Alessandra, Katerina, Olivia.
Nathaniel, Eric, Alexander.
James - I love the name James, and would likely use it in the middle spot. It's also my grandfather's assumed name.
Matthias - ehh, I like Matthew a lot, and Matthias is charming but I don't think I'm a big fan of it -ias ending.
Sebastian - I just recently considered this name! More so in the middle. I love Sebastian the Crab and The Little Mermaid, I also know a very nice boy names Sebastian.
Benjamin - Ditto. I recently considered it, it's nice, a bit plain but in a charming way. I like the nicknames of Ben, and Jamie.
Noah - I like it, but it's boring to me.
Bernardo - Nope! So not a fan.
Oliver - I just don't get the appeal, all I get is "Olive, errr..."
Christina - Nope. Don't like.
Amelia - It's nice, I've thought about it, but it's boring.
Adrianna - Love it, but prefer it with one N.
Clarissa - I used to love it as a kid, but it's too frilly and blah to me. It's weird, it's like a bland name that's trying to be princessy.
Ava - Love, but don't like how over used it is, or short it is. Feels like it's lacking something, but I still am a fan of the name.
Grace - Boring, overused, and lacking. Gracie however I'm a fan of.
Charlotte - Love, but it's lacking as a first name for me. I Adore it in the middle though.
Isabella - Boring, overused, lacking.2O - Aries - Slytherin - Daycare Assistant Teacher

Girls:
Lila - Cute and feminine and not too common, which I like
Charlotte - Lovely, classic, but we used to live in Charlotte, NC, so I think of it as a city, not so much as a girl's name
Maura - Ugh, no
Amalia - Just okay. It makes me think of Amelia, which I really like
Genevieve - I like it. Probably wouldn't choose it, though.
Grace - Beautiful. I considered this, but perhaps too common.
Violet - Mmmm, no. Feminine, but a little old-ladyish?
Olivia - Gorgeous, but so common.
Willis - "What you talkin' 'bout, Willis?" This is ALL we would hear! No, thanks.
Barnard - Blech! (Sorry to any of you who are fans!)
Henry - Very cute, but you hear it everywhere these days
Oliver - I wanted to put this on my short list, but husband vetoed. :-( Plus, my cousin named her kid this, so...
Rupert - I picture a very old, proper British gentleman. Not that that's necessarily bad, but not my style
Quinn - Love it!
Keane - Hmmm, hadn't heard this one before. Will ponder. Gut says no, though. Wouldn't fit our one-syllable last name very well.

Girls:

Charlotte- Charlotte is on my long list. I love it but it is a bit too popular for me to chose.
Maren- Pretty, but not really my style.
Grace- Also pretty, but a bit too plain for my taste.
Olivia- If it wasn't so popular and if it wasn't my sister's name then my husband would insist we name our first daughter this :P
Lila- Meh. Not my style.
Ella- Okay.
Leta- As above.
Boys:
Jere- Never heard of it and don't like it.
Oliver- Have liked it for ages but I have a close relative with this name and I dont like him.
