Thread: Arthur Caspian?

  1. #11
I love Arthur Caspian! That name just sounds so noble and charming to me. My mom hates my top 2 boys names, too. The way I see it is she already got to name her kid, so she doesn't get to name mine. I do think she will grow to love it when she associates it with her grandson. And IMO, Mason can't hold a candle to Arthur.

Thanks nerdy! So I am not alone, lol! I think what sounds new and fresh to our parents doesn't sound the same to us apparently

Lots of berries love Arthur but I don't like it at all unless it is in the form of MacArthur.

I just love Simon and the combo that gives it pizzazz is Simon Felix.

    rollo

Simon Felix is cool but then neither first or middle names honor any family

    Arthur Caspian?? *Swoons*

LOVE IT! My husband would not go for this at all. Nothing to do with King Arthur, so Tristan was also cut. Luckily I love enough names that this tragedy was not a full on Chernobyl.
Blessed to be a mother of 5.

Thinking about it is great! Most of the time my husband just says no straight up.

yeah, I know he doesn't like Caspian but I have really been loving it especially in the middle spot. Do you think it is ok to call Arthur Ari? I know Arthur would get shortened to Ar/R so it seems like a natural nickname even though I know it is a name in and of itself.

I don't see why not. I think the best nn's come naturally so I would wait and see what feels right at the time.

I love Caspian & Casper (but will never get Casper past the husband - still hope for Caspian though).
