"I have a little Asher, and we've gotten nothing but compliments on his name. After we named him, I saw that it was getting more popular, and I was concerned that all of a sudden there would be little Ashers everywhere. In the 2 1/2 years since we named him, we haven't met another little Asher, so I wouldn't worry too much about its popularity. "

Thanks for letting me know about your Asher! I am happy to hear that you aren't finding it too used right now. I keep seeing it on the name tracker on the home page and I feel like I see it everywhere these days...

Just now replying back. I am not sure if this will be the year of "Kate Middleton". If I had to guess, I would say it will rise in popularity. The good thing is that it's a classic name, not a trendy one. I know what you mean about finding a name thats "the one", sometimes it really takes a lot of searching.

I love Ella and Audrey together!! They sound great, and I really like the family significance of this choice. Maybe over time it will feel more special to you, if you think of it as your baby instead of as your grandma's sister. Good luck! I love your taste in names!

Thanks everyone for your suggestions and taking the time to help me out! So much to think about....I can't believe how much harder girls names are to choose than boys. There is so many different styles of girls names (feminine, vintage, classic, traditional, sporty, modern...) ahhhh.....I just don't know what I want!!! Audrey is definitely on the list but I am still not 100% sold on it. My husband is still really pushing for Leighton...and I still don't know about that one either.
