    I work with a middle aged woman named Teenie...or at least who goes by Teenie. She's extremely successful. I think people worry about these things more than they really matter.

    You seem to have already decided, but I'll add my vote for Maisie on it's own -- especially because of the family history. I'm normally a full, formal name kind of girl but Maisie seems in the same vein as names like Sadie that could be nicknames but could also be perfectly valid full names. And I disagree that people past 20 will be able to carry it off. I worked with a Margie who was in her 40s or 50s. It's a more common name, so maybe people would be more okay with that, but I don't see any difference (except Maisie is a MUCH better name -- no offense to any Margies out there!)

    I LOVE the idea of Mairead NN Maisie. I'd never thought of it before! Both names are beautiful in my mind.
