D a n g e r o u s.....
Don't let the pretty package fool you. This chick is dangerous. http://i1064.photobucket.com/albums/...6/Untitled.jpg
What should I name her?Have a Nice Day

I don't have any children, but I write like crazy and am always looking for names for characters. I think I'm a half decent story teller, a mediocre writer, but horrible at picking names.
Favorites: Ainsley, Michaela, Bree, Everly, Susannah, Aidan, Tristan, James, Jensen, Dalton, Travis

I'm going to toss out a tough surname for this character, Angus. I like the meaning. Anyone have any first name suggestions?
I'm also going to toss Tyler and Perry in the surname mix.Last edited by crissy76; June 19th, 2012 at 09:06 AM.

Carrie, Teresa / Theresa, Kenzie. Can you tell I watch too much tv? All I can think of are the pretty but tough girls on tv shows.

Maybe:
Annie
Selena
Camille
Veronica (means victory bringer)
Danica or Danielle nn. Dani
Clio (means fame, glory, reputation)
Delta
These are names I think of when I look at the picture you shared. They don't all go with the last name Angus, but hopefully it will help some.

@auntie_a. Thanks. I know what you mean about the tv shows. There are so many characters...in books also. It is so hard to come up with names that stand out. It always seems you come up with a good name only to google it and find out that it's been used before in a book, tv show, or movie. I thought up this awesome name once and it really suited the character and it turned out to be a counry music singer who died back in the 40's. I didn't use it, but I really wanted to.
Of the names you suggested, I like Clio and Camille. I'll add them to my list. Thanks.Have a Nice Day

I hope you don't mind my posting again, but I thought of a few more that I could picture on your character.
Carmen - Similar to Clio and Camille, but just a bit harsher?
Natalie - I know this can seem super sweet, but I think it could work on a "dangerous" character.
Aundrea
Sonya
Karina / Korina / Kori
Raven
Roxanne / Roxanna
Jada
Eva
Good luck!

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I just got back from out of town so I'll look at these more closely later tonight and let you all know my thoughts on them.

Out of all the names so far, I like
Tess or Tessa (to reap, to gather)...I prefer Tess because it sounds more mature.
Gemma (precious stone)...I really like this but feel it needs to be paired with a very strong sounding surname
Eliza or Elizabeth “Liz” (pledged to God)
Isabelle “Belle” (beautiful)
What about Tess Teller or Tess Tolliver?
And, what about Gemma Stellers or Gemma Gellar
I really like Avis Teller too, but the rest of my characters are Shannon Ditchburn, Luke Ditchburn, Andrew "Drew" Ditchburn, Jason "Jace" Westfall, Meredith Barnes, and Caroline Westfall aka Annie Falco so I don't want to add another "A" name in the mix.Last edited by crissy76; June 22nd, 2012 at 04:20 PM.
