    Pick your favourite Slavic name

For some time now I've been quite obsessed with Slavic names because of my heritage but I'm just not able to pick my personal favourites so I thought I would ask you guys: Which ones are your favourites based on this collection?

    For girls:
Nadezhda - Love that name, it means hope in several Slavic languages, Nicknames are Nadyenka, Nadie, Nadya
    Ralitsa -
    Velika -
Svesda - means star, stress is on the last sillable
Nevena - means Marigold and I think it's a unique option to the upcoming Marigol
Desislava - it's a Saint's name and a very old one. The meaning is 'tenth glory'
    Snezhana - snow girl
    Iskra
Taina - means secret, stress on the first sillable
    Kalyna - guelder rose
    Ruzha
    Jagoda - strawberry
    Malina - raspberry
Rusalka - a mermaid in Russian mythology
    Lelya
Morana - goddess of Winter & death (I'm quite fond of low-key goth names but I guess not everyone likes that)
    Marzyana
    Kirochka
    Ivelina

    For boys:
Teodor - love that name, my favourite family member wears it but I wonder if it's too old fashioned
    Nayden
Nedyalko - born on a Sunday (Nickname: Nedelcho (ch pronounced like a Tsch))
    Jezero - lake
    Jaro
    Rurik
Valko - wolf (this one is hard to write correctly in Latin letters because the a is pronounced like a Bulgarian ъ (Вълко)

What do you think? Which ones are your favourites? I might use the best ones for one of my writing projects and stories in the future. right now I haven't got the time but it would be good to narrow down the list to the best ones.

From your list I really like Nevena (I have Nevenka on my masterlist and I love Marigold too), Lelya, Morana, Rusalka, Jaro, and Valko. Plus I absolutely adore Nikolai and Aleksei.
