Nameberry classifies Jackson as a "new manly" name, and I believe that Marina constitutes what Nameberry terms an "exotic" name.

Personally I would say Jackson is spunky modern American with surname roots and Marina is modern Italian. Nothing at all to do with the other names you listed which are all classic historic vintage names (all very beautiful and going well together). Jackson is definitely trendy, Marina isn't and I believe never was.
