    Exclamation Jackson and Marina?

What style would you say Jackson and Marina are? I tend to prefer classic names, and I can see myself using these two, especially Jackson. Would they fit in with brothers named Edmund and Francis, and sisters namd Florence and Clara? Are Jackson and Marina trendy?

I feel that Jackson is incredibly trendy, as I know multiple Jacksons, all under the age of 8. I don't really think Marina sounds as old as Edmund and Florence, but I think it sounds pretty and flows nicely with Clara. (:

Nameberry classifies Jackson as a "new manly" name, and I believe that Marina constitutes what Nameberry terms an "exotic" name.

Frank [and] Jack [and] Ned ... Edwin [and] Franklin [and] Jackson ... Edmund [and] Francois [and] Ian ... Edward [and] Francis [and] John = equivalent variants of classic names.

Personally I would say Jackson is spunky modern American with surname roots and Marina is modern Italian. Nothing at all to do with the other names you listed which are all classic historic vintage names (all very beautiful and going well together). Jackson is definitely trendy, Marina isn't and I believe never was.
