LOVE the name for a little girl, I think the first thing that comes to many people's minds is "That's a guy's name." (That's what my husband said.)

Audrey for me. It's so classic and feels a bit glamorous a la Audrey Hepburn. I've met a few Audreys who all rocked the name, it's such a perfect name.
I love Aubrey, but on a boy. It just looks masculine, sounds masculine, to me. There are a lot of "Br" names on girls lately, but a lot of them either originated as boys' names (Bryn), are feminine versions of boys' names (Briana, Brenna), or are made-up (Braelyn). Strong boys' names like Bryan(t), Brody, Brendan/Brennan, etc., are all a bit soft, but still distinctly masculine to me, so that only helps to cement the "br" part as masculine to me.Lise

Audrey is one of my favorite names. It's classic and feminine, yet not too girly.
Aubrey is a traditionally male name, that's why people see it as masculine. I do like it better on a girl because of it's similarity to Audrey, but I still don't like it all that much. To me, Aubrey has become trendy. It grew quickly in popularity, it's a boy name gone girl, and there are a ton of made up spellings (Aubree, Aubrie) that are pretty popular too (I say that because I'm sure there are people that have used Audrie or Audree but it's a lot less common, correct me if I'm wrong).Top 10 girl's names: Serena * Audrey * Sienna * Bridget * Lucy * Hazel * Cordelia * Josephine * Claire * Alice
Top 10 boy's names: Elliott * Callum * Theodore * Emmett * Nolan * Ian * Blake * Brennan * Adrian * Everett
