Year 7: Owen gets laid off, but it gives him a chance to put his mind to inventing a new line of completely chemical-free cleaning products. They are bought by a large corporation for a huge sum of money and produced worldwide.
Year 8: We are having trouble conceiving again, so we use IVF and wind up pregnant with triplets, two girls and one boy! Harriet June, Penelope Rose, and Walter James are born when Gus is 7 and Stella and Florence are 3.
Year 9: Owen finally finds work at the company that bought his chemical-free cleaning products, selecting other projects for them to invest in.
Year 10: Our house gets a bit crowded for a family of eight, so we move to a larger one. It has eight bedrooms and three baths along with a large playroom and backyard for the kids.
Year 11: Our cat, Lucy, is hit by a car after we move into our new home, and a few weeks later we adopt a kitten and name him Ricky.
Year 12: We decide to try for another baby but aren't successful, so we choose to adopt. We adopt a 10 month old baby boy from China, whose name is Park Li. We keep his original name the same. Older siblings Gus (11), Stella and Florence (7), and Harriet, Penelope, and Walter (5) are thrilled to pieces.
Year 13: Unexpectedly, we become pregnant with twins! Boy/girl twins Henry Michael and Mabel Jessamine are born when Gus is 12, Stella and Florence are 8, Harriet, Penelope, and Walter are 6, and Park is 2.
Year 14: We loved the experience of adopting so much that we decide to adopt another baby. We are chosen to adopt a 3 year old boy from Australia whose name is Louis Jerry. We nickname him Louie, but keep his original name the same.
Year 15: We think our family is complete when unexpectedly we get a phone call from the adoption service that matched us with Park. His birth mother has just had another son who she has given up for adoption, and they want to know if we would like to keep the siblings together. Of course we say yes. She chooses the name Bo Huan, which we keep. Bo, nb, joins our family when Gus is 14, Stella and Florence are 10, Harriet, Penelope, and Walter are 7, Park is 4, and Louie is 4.

Year 10: Jameson is promoted to sergeant.
Year 11: We're completely surprised when he is again promoted-this time to lieutenant-just a year later.
Year 12: At 42, I get the news that I'm having twins. Noam Bennett and Soren Rafferty are officially the last two kids I'm having.
Year 13: Ezra's been feeling left out, so we adopt a 4-year old girl from China-Carys Lian.
Year 14: We go back to China to adopt a 2-year old boy we'd fallen in love with when we went to pick up Carys-Jace Quon.
Year 15: While on a vacation in Mexico, we make a visit to one of the local orphanages to drop off toys. We fall in love with one month old twins and decide to adopt them. Holden Cruz and Marguerite Paloma are the final additions to our family.

A year after our wedding I open my own event planning business specializing in weddings. Kellan helps out, but he’s normally busy at the university.

A year after our baby girl is born Kellan goes into a hippie-esque phase and decides he wants us to raise chickens for fresh eggs we get six and let each child name two. They wind up being Emma, Sophie, Rachel, Grace, Coco & Cluck.
When the twins are three they start really wanting a dog, so we went to the shelter and they picked out a cocker spaniel named Toby.
When the twins are four and Cassandra is three I fall pregnant again, but miscarried at 25 weeks. It was a girl, we named her Vera.
A year after Vera died we decided we want to adopt, we thought adopting from another country, France, would be a fun way for the kids to learn about the world. When we go to Paris to pick up our baby she reminds me so much of Vera, she’s a year old with dark brown eyes, we decide to keep her birth name, Vivienne Marie.
The kids loved adopting so we decided that we could do it again and this time we took the kids with us to pick up the babies. We adopted two year old twin boys Nikolai Mikhail & Aleksandr Ivan from Odessa, Russia.
A year after adopting Kolya and Alik, I fall pregnant with a baby boy who we name Isaac Augustus.
Kellan decides a year after Isaac is born, that we need more chickens. All the kids except Isaac name one, Lucrezia, Zelda, Belle, Nicole, Tanya & Anya
We decided we really like the rewards of adopting and decide to do it again this time a five year old girl from India, Pema Lakshmi.
A year after we adopt Pema, we move to England for Kellan’s job offer at Oxford. All the kids blend in very well.
A year after we move Vivienne wanted to get a cat so we got a little tabby named Toby.
Two years after we moved to England we have a baby girl named Cordelia Josephine.
