This is a great idea. I often think about a name's color when thinking about nursery colors. I don't actually agree with most of the name and color combos above, as I don't "see" them, I just get a feeling, and most are a mixture of colors, but I think some of mine are heavily influced by previous acquaintances. For example, Lauren is purple for me.

White - Caspera, Magnolia, Opal, Snow, Eira, Neva, Lily
Silver - Seraphina, Luna, Silveria, Stella, Argelia, Argentia
Red - any Rose name, Attalia, Anatolia, Cayenne, Nova, Diantha, Diana, Atreyu
Orange - Clementine, Jacquelyn, Sunniva, Ambretta, Belina, Bettina, Tigerlily
Yellow - Freya, Fenella, Fiamma, Zelda, Elena, Aphrodite, Athena, Penelope, Zenobia
Green - Gwendolen, Ivy, Fern, Guinevere, Galena, Juniper, Palma, Forest, Emerald, Jove, Sage
Turquoise - Fairuza, Serenella, Viridiana, Persephone, Araminta, Delphina
Blue - Indigo, Rowena, Sophie (light blue), Saskia (light blue), Raina, Regina, Rowan, Runa
Purple - Lauren, Vanessa, Alexandra, Aradia, Lavender, Lilac, Virginia, Amaryllis, Ambrosia, Labhras
Pink - Lavinia, Luciana, Lucia, Pomelina, Cataleya/Kataleya, Cassia, Plumeria, Ceridwen, Lamia
Brown - Henna, Hazel, Maple, Branwen, Dean, Theron
Black - Melantha, Ostara, Oriana, Oberon, Orion, Mason, Minerva, Megaera
