Winona Lake sounds very hippy-ish, don't know if you're going for that. I like hippy-ish but never cared for Winona. I think of Winona Ryder and Wynonna Judd, and I don't care for either
    Maiara Lake
    Tallula Lake

Susannah Lake is hippy-ish but not over the top

    Katherine Lake is nothing special

Don't think Corrine or Cecily flow well
    Cecilia Lake
    Celia Lake
    Cora Lake
    Corina Lake

    Lotus * Tallulah * Noor * Fox * Jasper * Linden * Arden * Adair

I don't think any American Indians would mind. My sister named her baby Seneca, and we are not native. I myself have descendants from the Cherokke people, and I don't find it offensive. It's a very pretty name,by the way.

Caroline Lake was the first and middle name of Laura Ingalls Wilder's mother.

    -best of luck to you!

Coralie is pretty but again Coralie Lake has the same "l" issue as Cecily Lake.
    All the best,
    Mischa.

I think Winona Lake is wonderful! And Corrine is pretty too.

    How about;

    Niamh (pronounced Neeve) Lake
    Penelope Lake
    Annie Lake
Cecilia Lake (a take on Cecily)
    Rowena Lake
    Celia Lake
    Evelyn Lake

Hope this help, good luck with your baby in the future!

    Susanna Lake is beautiful.

I love the sound of Winona Lake, but I can't really weigh in on the native American issue. :/ I'd be a bit concerned about that.

As someone who lives in Winona Lake, IN, I can attest to this: No one is going to make the Lakotah connection. We even have a statue of Princess Winona here, and people still don't know how it connects to the area. You're safe on that measure.

Small as it is, the town IS well-known; be prepared for connections with evangelist Billy Sunday, the Winona Lake Bible Conference (think Mecca for Christians in the 1920s-60s) and Prohibition (local baseball team: the Blue Laws). You'll mostly get this from the over-60s.

Realistically? Most people are only going to see this combination on registration forms. Have fun with the names!

Caroline Lake was my first thought for this very reason! That being said, Susanna Lake was my choice from your list. Congrats!
