I voted for Aurora and Leilani. I love both meanings and like the fact that both names have repeated consonants, but are completely separate names. Cambria was a close second.

I'm torn! I actually like Aurora and Amaya the best, I think that's perfect. If you're not feeling them, though, then I would lean toward Aurora and Eliana or Aurora and Jordana. I think they have a similar cadence but are quite distinctive, girly, and fun. I like Eliana slightly more than Jordana, and I think Aurora and Eliana stylistically might be a better match, but you can't go wrong with either.

So for me, I guess it would be:

    1. Aurora and Amaya
    2. Aurora and Eliana
    3. Aurora and Jordana

    Good luck!

Ahh, Leilani! I totally forgot about that. I really like Aurora and Leilani, too, maybe even more than Aurora and Eliana. Aurora and Leilani is fabulous.

Aurora and Leilani...I suggested this combo on one of your other posts. Leilani is a personal favorite of mine and I just like them together. My second choice would be Aurora and Anastasia.

#1 Aurora & Cambria- I've like Cambria since I was young, it's just so pretty and different
#2 Aurora & Jordana- I think the set is unexpected but goes together nicely. They sound elegant but not Disney princessy. Would you feel better with the Italian version, Giordana?

Leilani- I feel like it's overdone and generic. I know backwoods country folk with kids named Leilani. It's the safe yet exotic name for people who aren't comfortable enough with names like Kaikala or Mahina

Abriana and Eliana- sound trendy. I know tons of -iana's

Anastasia- too Disney princessy for me

Amaya- nothing special, doesn't have the same umph as Aurora or the other names

Also, I noted people mention Anastasia as a disney princess, she's not disney, she was done by Fox. Just thought you should know, both princesses, but not done by the same movie company.

Yes I know she's not Disney. Aurora & Anastasia sound kiddie/fantasy/"Disney", while Aurora & Jordana sound like real life princesses

I voted for Eliana,a nd secondly for Anastasia. Like the meanings that go together, and just the names themselves. I do not like Cambria. Reminds me of chambray or some kindof fabric. Abriana is okaaay. Jordana is kind of cute. Do not like Amaya. Leilani is cute too, but I'm just not going for it here.

I picked Aurora and Anastasia. They are gorgeous names individually and I love them together too. Even though they both begin and end with A, they have such unique sounds on their own I just find them delightful. And it's rare that I see a twin set where I would truly have a difficult time deciding which twin's name I liked more. The meanings are just icing on the cake.

I also voted for Aurora and Cambria because you're right, there is just something about that set. I think Cambria has the same kind of exotic strength as Aurora and I really like it.

That said, if you truly love Aurora and Jordana, go with your gut. Honestly I am generally not into matchy twin names. If you would name non-twin sisters Aurora and Jordana, then I think they would also be great for twin sisters. It's just that Anastasia and Cambria are more my style than Jordana, so of course I think they are prettier and that's why they got my votes.

ETA: I didn't read through the second page of comments before I posted. Giordana would have gotten a vote from me and would definitely beat out Cambria because of the Italian significance to your family. Aurora and Giordana would probably get a different response from other Berries too, especially knowing you are Italian and how much you love the sound of Jordana. In this case, I think spelling makes all the difference.

I voted for Aurora and Eliana. I love Eliana, it is on my list and I like the connection that their meanings have. I also think they sound good together. Same "a" ending but different too. My second vote would be for Aurora and Anastasia. Very beautiful names, and very matching in style. They sound great together! Good luck!
