I absolutely love Sawyer! It's such a great literary name, and such a fun name for a little boy, I'd think. I would love to meet one. If Spencer wasn't on my short list, Sawyer would probably be there somewhere. I don't think the "Saw your..." jokes would be that bad, I would definitely go with it! Sawyer Kellan is really handsome.

    All the best!

For me one of the issues with Sawyer is that I immediately ask myself is this a girl or a boy? I like gender specific names but don't mind girls names like Alexandra nn Alex.

If you need suggestions please ask.

Sorry nat108 there are lots and lots of little girl Sawyers popping up, so it is not purely a boy's name.

Sawyer Kellan is awesome. I would totally go with it, if it fit with my last name. Don't worry! I get panicked too at the last minute!

I like the name sawyer a lot - and although i think it would work for a boy, to me its all girl unfortunately.

I don't usually like surnames as first names much, but I do like Sawyer and I definitely think boy when i hear it.

LOVE Sawyer. It's one of those names that I would totally adore on someone else's boy, but can't see it on mine because I was too much of a LOST freak. I'd say "Soy-yer" as well, so there is no way it sounds like "saw yer mom". Keep it!!!!!

I have met quite a few sawyer (girls) in the last year - quite sure it's unisex, and leaning towards feminine now.
