4 Days Left & Still No Name!
I posted a while back which helped narrow our choices but now we're 4 days out and still don't have a name combination or two to take to the hospital with us (that's agreeable to both). Maybe we're missing a combo or need help putting the 2 names together.
I need some clarity!
My first choice would still be Harlow Ann because I love it (Ann is his mom's middle name and Harley as a nn is something we can both agree on). He still maintains that he does not want Harlow but would agree to just Harley. I'm feeling that Harley as a stand alone may be too gritty especially if she's a girly girl and like the idea of a unique but feminine full name like Harlow to fall back on. Gah! Also loved Lola as a nn from Harlow, but not sold on any one nn, just need to agree on full name first.
I still think that her name will be shortened, so maybe there are ideas out there that utilize any of our first name choices along with a middle name to come up with something cute/sassy but give her a solid first name.
Our first name choices include:
Rowan (this one has had some staying power tho I don't love 'Ro', mn may help)
Harper (though I do not like any shortened version of this as a nn unless you have ideas outside of Harp/Harpy)
Harley (?)
Harlow (still on my list but trying to get over it unless you have some persuasion powers I lack)
We're not set on an mn choices but would definitely like a more feminine name to balance each of these.
Harlow is the only one I think Ann would go with for me, but other names we like include: (can also mix and match the first names for a combo?)
Charlotte
Harlow (DH is fine with it as mn btw)
Claire
*(any feminine ideas welcome here but not a fan of names like Katherine, Emily, etc)
Thank you thank you thank you.

I personally aren't a big fan of your choices, Harlow and Harper are both masculine last names in my opinion, but I know they are becoming popular in America. Rowan and Harley are also boys names in my opinion. I have never known girls with any of these names. (but I am from England!)
I think I like Rowan best, it is the most feminine, I think I like;
Charlotte Rowan
Rowan Claire
These are both pretty!!
Sorry I don't have the same name taste as you, but remember I'm just a stranger! Those may be considered girls names where you are? I'm not sure, I just know they aren't here!
Good Luck!!My Favorite Names
Verity, Geneva, Martha, Anya, Amelie, Esther
James Kennedy, Roman Thomas, Lucas Henry

I like Harlow, but I dont like Harley. While both are surnamey and a little masculine, but Harlow I can see on a girl much more than Harley which is all boy.
I like the idea that Harlow could also be Lola. Harper is meh to me, but I think I prefer it to Rowan.
Other ideas:
Marlow (Marley, Lola)
Delaney (Laney, Lane, Dee)
Hadley
Piper
Grayson (Gracie, Gray)
Payton (Toni?)
Reese
Hemming
Playing with combos...
Rowan Claire (nn Winnie?)
Marlow Ann
Delaney Claire
Hemming Ann
Grayson Claire
Payton Harlow
Hope something clicks for you!

I like Harper and Harlow the best. I do know a few people who have recently had daughters and named them Harper, so I think it'll end up being more of a popular, trendy name.
I like Harper Anne and Harlow Anne. Or Rowan Claire, Rowan Harlow, Harlow Claire, Harlow Belle, Harper Claire, or Harper Olivia.Favorite girl names of the moment: Cecilia, Eleanor, Amelia, Violet, Charlotte, and Ramona
Favorite boy names of the moment: Henry, Micah, Jack, Elijah, Owen, and Jonah

Rowan is pretty and unique. I always recommend Annabeth, because I'm hoping it will take off. Rowan Piper is nice, or maybe Cadence Emily. You get the uniqueness of Cadence with the levelness of Emily you could call a baby named Cadence Cady, which sounds a lot like Katie. If you're going with Ann, put an e on the end because it look better. Harper Charlotte is nice, and so is Anne Harlow. I don't know if you like the name Adelaide, because if you do Adele would be a good nickname for Adelaide Harper or Adelaide Rowan. Lucy is nice too. I wouldn't go with Lola, because she could never be taken seriously, but you shouldn't listen to me, I'm very opinionated. But untsead of Lola, you might like Vera or Carly. Hope it helps a little!
