"The popular friendly pretty girl" type names?
OK, so I worked out what sort of names I like for girls... LOL
"The popular friendly pretty girl" type names. (Oh, and thanks Lori, you made me realise this is what I think of when I pick names).
You know that type of girl?
The one who is in dance classes, the one who boys chase in high school, the one who seems to attract a crowd of friends without even trying, the one who despite being popular is also a decent friend, the girl who is naturally pretty but not especially vein, the one who has a ready smile and giggles with people, an all round nice popular girl. (Not a Regina George type!)
What name/s fits that image to you?Current favourite boy names: Cormac Flynn Nathaniel (Nate) Oliver Alexander Liam Hugo Isaac Leo

Rebecca!
But you basically just described my little sister, lol, so that's why I instantly thought of it.
That, and the nn Becca just seems to fit that vibe to me, very pretty but not vein at all and everyone adores her.
I think of a lot of popular names right now that way, as well--well, the softer ones:
Isabelle (or Isabella)
Olivia
Sophie
Charlotte
Elise
Hannah
Claire/Clara
Juliana
Liliana/Lily/Lillian
ha. Half of my list, I suppose.
I guess that's why I really love Isabelle and Olivia, lol.
For what it's worth, I really see Erin fitting in, too, but then again, Becca's best friend is an Erin, and she pretty much fits the description you gave, too.
Good luck!Ashley

I think this "style" can vary depending on who you know. I think people you know will change everyone's opinion on which names fit into this category. For me...
I also think this style is going to end with a vowel. Vowels tend to soften names up, making them feel flowy and happy.

Sophie is a name I keep coming back to.
Isabelle is very pretty, will have to run it past DH.
Charlotte is "the" mn we want, the whole family love the name so much I wonder if perhaps it is destined as the FN.
Elise- I have been fancying Eloise nn Lou Lou
Claire is on our possible mn list- Brooke and Claire.. hmm?
Can't have 'a' ending names with our LN. Sadly Rebecca ends in 'a', which is a shame because it does fit the bill.
Erin has that same feel to me too.
Oh, and BTW Brooke is that exact type of girl too.
Sometimes I wonder if her name made her that girl.Current favourite boy names: Cormac Flynn Nathaniel (Nate) Oliver Alexander Liam Hugo Isaac Leo

These names have all made our list at some stage.
Brooke was almost Brianna Eloise.
If you met my DD you would meet that girl- she is a delight, not a mean bone in her body- not a "mean girls" type at all. I have met a few, but they are indeed not often kind hearted as well. Brooke matched our DD so well- we say she is a babbling Brooke as she is so bubbly!Current favourite boy names: Cormac Flynn Nathaniel (Nate) Oliver Alexander Liam Hugo Isaac Leo
