Caden's life - Caden went to college to study business, but dropped out after his first year. At 19, he set up his own online dating website. When he was 21, he met Carly Webster in a coffee shop. She had just graduated from college and was working as a vetinary nurse. They started dating and two years later, she fell pregnant. They had a son who they named Bentley Harrison. When Caden was six months old, Carly went back to work and Caden stayed home with the baby. When Bentley was a year old, Caden proposed to Carly. They set a date, but three months before the wedding, Carly discovered she was pregnant again. Six months after they married, she gave birth to Jacob Noah. When Bentley was five and Jacob was three, Caden and Carly started arguing. A year later, Carly admitted to sleeping with her boss and they agreed to divorce. The boys lived with Carly and stayed with Caden at weekends. A year after Caden and Carly's divorce, Caden found himself in bed with his best friend, Luna, after they'd both had a few drinks. The next morning, they agreed to spend some time apart. Caden didn't want to ruin his friendship with Luna, but he felt himself falling for her. They met up two weeks later and decided to take things slow. Three months later they married. Two years later, Luna gave birth to Zachary Isaac. Caden is now 38. His dating website is successful and Luna works as a yoga instructor. Bentley is 15 and Jacob is 13. They live with Carly in Seattle, Washington, but stay with Caden and Luna for four weeks every summer. Zachary is four, he loves his father and looks up to him more than anyone else.

Lucas' life - Luke studied Fine Art at college and did well until his 2nd year when he got involved with one of his professors, Leila. She was young, small and pretty with dark hair and enchanting eyes. One day he stayed behind after class to talk to her about an assignment and one thing led to another. They started an affair which lasted four months, until they were spotted by another student. Luke was expelled from college and moved back in with his parents until he found his feet again. He started selling his paintings at a local market and soon his work was bringing in quite a bit of money. Six months later, he was behind his stall when he saw Leila. They spoke for a while and she bought one of his paintings. They agreed to meet for coffee the next day. A year later they were married. When Luke was 23 and Leila was 33, they started trying for a baby. A year later, Leila fell pregnant, but she miscarried at 11 weeks. Over the next three years, she miscarried four more times. After the fifth miscarriage, they gave up trying. Since they had married, Luke had started teaching fine art evening classes and Leila had changed her career path entirely and was working as a chef in an Italian restaurant. When Luke was 30 and Leila was 40, she unexpectedly fell pregnant. They were wary throughout the entire pregnancy, but Leila carried to full-term and gave birth to Blake Christopher. When he was born, they discovered he had Down's Syndrome. At first they were shocked, but they loved him anyway. Luke is now 36, he still runs his fine art evening classes. Leila is 46 and is a stay at home to Blake, who is now six.

Willow's life - Willow never went to college. At 18, she started her journey around the world. She made money by temporary waitressing and barmaid jobs. While in England, she worked in a pub called The Trophy where she met Daniel. They had a whirlwind romance and he followed her to Greece. One night, while watching the sunset, Daniel proposed to her. Willow said yes, but the next day she panicked and left him a note explaining that she couldn't marry him and that she'd gone home. While she was back in Santa Barbara, she bumped into her old friend, Isobel. She was working in her mother's clothing boutique and asked if she could tag along with Willow. Two months ater, they set off to travel Asia. They made their way around China, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, but when they got to India, Willow instantly felt at home. When Isobel went home, Willow decided to stay. She lived in India for six months, but returned to Santa Barbara when her great aunt fell ill. While in the US, she took digital photography evening classes. With Caden's help, she set up her own website so she could sell her photos. A year later, she moved back to India where she opened her own gallery. Six months later, she left her friend, Priya, to run the gallery while she travelled Austraila. When she returned to India, she met Dhiren. Three months later, at the age of 25, she discovered she was pregnant. Dhiren left as soon as he found out, so Willow moved back home to give birth to Rani Sophia. She opened another gallery in Santa Barbara which she ran up until she was 28 and Rani was two, when she moved back to India with Rani. A year later, she met Sudhit. They met three weeks before his marriage to another woman, but he fell in love with Willow and they ran away together to New Dehli. When Willow was 30, she gave birth to Navita Faith. When Navita was three months old, Willow sold her two galleries and opened one in New Dehli. Two years later, she gave birth to twin boys, Kirin Sudhit and Kavi Christopher. Willow is now 34. Her gallery attracted the attention of the editor of a British photography magazine who featured it in the magazine. The gallery has grown to be quite successful. After years of travelling and changes, Willow has settled down to be a stable, caring mother to Rani (9), Navita (4), and Kirin and Kavi (2).

Jamie's story - Jamie was the first to actually finish college. She majored in English and graduated top of her class when she was 21. She landed her first teaching job at 22. The first few weeks were a nightmare, but she soon started to enjoy it. A year and a half later, a girl called Seraphina joined her class. Seraphina had been in foster care since the age of four and had never stayed with a family for more than six months. She was behind in all her classes and Jamie offered to give her extra tuition for free. Seraphina was reluctant, but eventually agreed. Seraphina started to make progress in class and developed a strong bond with Jamie. Jamie applied to foster Seraphina and by the next year, things were official! When she was 27, Jamie started dating a dentist named Forrest. Six months later, he proposed and six months after that they were married and pregnant! When she was 29, Jamie gave birth to twin boys! She called them Spencer August and Barney Edward. Jamie is now 31. She is still married to Forrest and still teaching. They now live in Nashville, Tennessee (Forrest's hometown) with Spencer and Barney who are now two. Seraphina is 20 and lives in London with her boyfriend. She still keeps in touch with Jamie and visits twice a year.

Nathan's story - Nathan majored in Sociology and planned to become a Sociology teacher, but after graduating decided he wanted to become a journalist. At 21, he landed a job writing obituaries. During his first month at work, he met Amelia. She was the editor's secretary but was just trying to earn enough money to go to art college. Nathan told her about the evening classes that Lucas ran. Amelia started attending them and invited Nathan to dinner to thank him. They started dating and five months later, Nathan moved in with her. Amelia had made it clear from the start that she didn't want to get married, but she did want a family. A year later she gave birth to Asha Evie-Lynn. Two years later, she gave birth to Oakley Harris & Rohan Hugo. Nathan is now 26and has his own column. Amelia is a stay-at-home mum to Asha (3), Oakley and Rohan (1).

5. Two sons
Nathaniel ends up marrying a lovely lady named Juliet he meets off at university in Florida. They date for 5 years before he proposes to her on the beach in Virginia while they were visiting on vacation. After the wedding they decide to move to Virginia. Juliet works as a ECE teacher in a reputable daycare and Nathaniel ends up working at his father's physiotherapy office as partner.

Ophelia moves to London to study ballet at sixteen. Although her father and I are hesitant to let her go so young, she convinces us it's the best thing for her career. She moves to New York at eighteen to attend Julliard, where she meets and falls in love with a fellow dancer, named Toby Joel Liebowitz. Toby and Ophelia get married a year after he graduates, in the middle of her final year at Julliard. As they're both professional dancers in New York, they decide to hold off on having children until their thirties. However, Ophelia stops dancing professionally at 28, due to a knee injury, and opens a dance studio. On her thirtieth birthday, she gives birth to her and Toby's only child: a daughter named Donnelly Quinn. They stay in New York, and once Toby also retires from professional dancing, run their prestigious dance school together.

Claudia misses her twin when she leaves for London. As a result, she decides to go to her father's alma mater, NYU, so she can be close to Ophelia during college. She studies French, and participates in a study abroad in Benin. While there, she meets a student from Stanford University named Colin Phoenix James. They keep in contact long-distance as they attend their respective schools. After they graduate, they join the Peace Corps together, working primarily in French-speaking Africa. After five years, they return to Benin, marry, and settle down, running a non-profit to help local orphans. Eventually, they adopt a little girl they name Gwendolyn Ava. Two years later, they adopt another baby, and name her Josephine Kennedy. Claudia, Colin, Gwen, and Josie stay in Benin, but the girls come visit Ben and I every summer.

Ezra decides to stay in DC and attend culinary school. After he graduates, he moves to Orlando, FL, where he works as a chef in Disney World. When he's thirty-two, he meets a woman working as an 'imagineer' (Disney engineer) named Rowan Skye. Ezra and Rowan date for only two months before they get married. Three years later, Rowan gives birth to Harry Donovan. A year after that, she has Xanthe Noor.

Although Ben and I travel a lot due to our jobs, we try to see our spread out family as much as possible, and always welcome visits.

Part 1- My name is Pierce Alexandra Chancellor. I was born on April 27, 1989 in Charlottesville, Virginia to Jessica Elaine Chancellor (née Holling) & Wesley Matthew Chancellor. My father died at war a week after I was born, so I never met him, but my older brother and my mother always tell stories about him and show me pictures. After my father died, my mother became a widow and raised us two children, me and my brother Kaidan (Ky-den) Wesley Chancellor who is three years older than me. I graduated high school in 2007 and then went on to college at King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, my father's and my brother's alma mater. I majored in criminal justice because of my interest in it ever since I watched Veronica Mars with my mom on Netflix and researched it after my grandfather told me tons of stories about his time in the FBI. I plan to go to the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia, only two hours away from home, to train to become an FBI agent.

Part 2- It took me roughly four and a half years to graduate at King's College because I attended extra classes after the rest of my class graduated. I moved back home for a few months before I was twenty-three, old enough to train at the FBI Academy. During the twenty-week training I noticed a familiar face, Cassidy Owen Lockwood, a man who was a student at my high school a year above me. We became great friends and shared an apartment after graduating at the academy while we were assigned to the FBI field office in Richmond, VA. One night, Cassidy met up with one of his buddies from college and brought me along to meet Dane Johnathan Hols. Dane was studying at the University of Richmond's School of Law after majoring in pre-law at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. That night Dane asked me for my number and the weekend after we went on our first date. We went to a local shooting range because he knew I was working for the FBI and because his father used to bring him shooting all the time. We had lunch, too. Cassidy was okay with us dating, and I knew because I ran it by him only eight million times. Dane and I ended up getting serious and during our dating period I learned that he was born on December 9, 1989 in Syracuse, NY, also the city in which he grew up. Unlike me, he had and has both his parents Lilian Maryellen Hols (née Marlins) and Emmett Kyle Hols, and also unlike me, he is an only child. Cassidy's girlfriend Isla was secretly ecstatic that we were moving in together, for she didn't listen to Cassidy when he said that I had a boyfriend and that mine and Cassidy's relationship was strictly platonic. Now that I think about it, it is weird that we lived together for three years and were so normal with each other.

Part 3- Dane and I dated for three years during the time he was at law school and after that lived together in an apartment for five months. At that time, we were thirty. Dane recreated our first date when we went to the shooting range, but instead he brought me to a fancier restaurant to propose! I knew my answer immediately. My twenties were over and I loved Dane; I said yes. I didn't want a big extravaganza, and neither did Dane, so we planned a small wedding in Richmond, the place that became our home, at the house my mother was now living in after she moved. A year later, the wedding was simple and in the back yard, filled with our family and friends. Dane's best man was Cassidy, and my maid of honor was my sister-in-law Alice--Kaidan's wife. We had our closest cousins as our bridesmaids and groomsmen. Kaidan's little girl, Dianna, was the flower girl, and Dane's cousin's boy Willie was the ring bearer. The dress, ring, wedding, and hoopla didn't matter to me; all that mattered was Dane, and me becoming Pierce Alexandra Hols. For our honeymoon, we went to London, England, were Dane knew I had wanted to go for forever. Part 4- Our first child was a boy, Dane Johnathan Hols Jr., after his amazing father. His hair is dirty, dark blond, just like his father, but he has my brown eyes. Three years later, our girl Emerson Kate Hols was born, with sandy blond hair and blue eyes like her father. This left me as the only brunette in the family. The kids remind me of Kaidan and I because we were three years apart too. Dane was super-athletic at a young age, bouncing around from sport to sport, but eventually zeroing in on hockey. All he could talk about was his favorite teams and players and the standings of the season. Hockey always makes me nervous because of the roughhousing, but I knew that was just my motherly instinct. Emerson is called Em by most of her close friends, which she only has a few because she is so independent. And because books are definitely her number one friend. She continuously talks about the books she's reading and gee, can she talk! But I can't blame her because that's how I was when I was younger. It's crazy to think how far I've come with Dane.

Part 5- Ah, I can't believe our little Dane and Em are all grown up!
~Dane graduated college at Syracuse University, in the town his father grew up in. He majored in accounting at the Joseph I. Lubin School of Accounting. There he met his girlfriend Abigail Celeste Markham and after they graduated, they moved in together in Syracuse. Dane went on to play for the Syracuse Crunch until he was thirty, which was when he proposed to Abby and they wed. Abby (now Abigail Celeste Hols) was a loan officer with her accounting degree, and Dane finally put his to good use, becoming an underwriter at an insurance industry. Two years after they married they had a boy, Liam Carlisle Hols. Liam has dark brown hair like his grandmother, the happy medium between his father's dirty blond and his mother's black. His eyes are hazel. Dane and Abby decided to try again seven whole years later, and they had twin girls! Their names are Chloe Isabelle and Erin Rosalie, and they have light brown-blond hair with green eyes.
~Em decided to go to her mother's alma mater, King's College in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, majoring in English professional writing. As a twenty-two year old, she published her first novel, the first in a trilogy. Em loves seeing her name on her own published books: Emerson K. Hols. She became a New York Times best-selling author, writing mostly in teen fiction. While on a book tour, Em ran into a boy who used to go to her high school in Richmond, Bradley Garrett Hawkes, who she remembered as Brad Hawkes. He was getting a book signed for his niece, and unfortunately forgot her. He mentioned that they should catch up and they exchanged numbers. Soon enough they were dating and married, living in Chamberlayne, VA, only fifteen minutes from their childhood home. Even though Brad was the popular athletic boy in high school, he really made something of himself, graduating from the University of Richmond Robins School of Business with a major in business administration. He works at his father's business, Hawkes Enterprises, in which he will inherit. Eight years after they marry, they decide to have their first kid and nine months later, they have a son, Jack Andrew Hawkes. Jack's got hair that's hard to tell if it's closer to his father's honey blond or his mother's sandy blond. And he has brown eyes like his father. Their an all-blond family in appearance, but in personality, they're anything but.

1. Stella moved over to New York at 18 to study dance at Julliard, there she met a pianist Michael Hayes. They moved back to Manhattan after Julliard and had two girls and a boy. Emma Josephine, Dylan Cooper, & Lilly Julieta. Stella now is part of a dance company and dances on Broadway.


2. Ana went to New York Medical College to become a pediatric nurse. They lived in Florida for two years but them moved back to Manhattan to be near her family.

4. Rory went on to become a fashion designer, she married a man who work to the Behavioral Analysis Unit. THey have one daughter, Annika Meredith, and they now live in Buffalo.

Cameron met his wife, Molly his junior year of college at Texas A&M. He’s now a sport’s broadcaster living right down the road from Mom and Dad. Cameron gave us our first precious granddaughter along with two more precious little girls. Their children are Olivia Grace Broderick, Emily Claire Broderick, and Addison Leigh Broderick. All three girls are very involved in dance and Grandma and Grandpa are always invited!

Savannah met her husband, Dominic Presley, after graduating law school. She moved about an hour away from us, claiming she wanted to be out from under her dad's protective wings. Who can blame Eric though? Savannah is his only little girl! After marrying Dom, Savannah went on to have four children, two boys and two girls (including a set of twins!). Their names are Taylor Eric Presley, Jayden Cara Presley, Eliot Sean Presley, and Makenna Jane Presley. Taylor and Jayden are fraternal twins. Taylor loves doing things with his hands and is enjoying being the role model to little Eliot. The girls stick together like glue and never go anywhere without each other.

Jacob is not currently married but he has a girlfriend, Bailey, that he's been on-again/off-again with since high school. They're living together in Missouri and have two sons together. Jacob completed technical college and is a welder for a power plant. Their boys' names are Ayden Michael Broderick and Garrett James Broderick. We don't see them much more than once or twice a year since they're so far away.

Isaac married his high school sweetheart, Jamie, right out of high school. The two live outside the Foster city limits. Isaac attended the same technical college as Jacob but decided he would rather farm. He lives on a sprawling beef farm with Jamie and their three young children. Their kids' names are Willow Brynn Broderick, Clayton Christopher Broderick, and River Shane Broderick. Every family event is held at their house because they have room for everyone there and the kids can run around outside.
