    Need a New Name

I will be legally changing my last name soon and I would enjoy some suggestions that fit my criteria as I have run out of options and cannot make up my mind. Since this is an important decision I would like to view all my options from a wide variety of different sources and opinions.

My first name is Madison, I will be changing both my middle name and my last name. I would really enjoy a last name with one or two syllables (preferably two) so that it can easily be used as a nickname or for someone to reference me. So far, I have liked last names beginning with the letter 'B', but I am open to all options and suggestions. Also, I plan on becoming a Doctor, so the last name sound sound well with the prefix.

If you have a last name that does not fit this criteria, but you think it sounds nice anyways, feel free to suggest it. If the last name is more than three syllables, perhaps you could suggest a good nickname that could go along with it (ex. Montgomery, 'Mont' or 'Monty')

    Last names I am considering:
    Beckett
    Baudelaire
    Montgomery

I will answer questions, thank you very much!

    Baudelaire
    Montgomery

Those two remind me of Lemony Snicket's A Series Of Unfortunate Events.

    Beckett is nice.

Delaney! It jumped to mind right away, Madison Delaney sounds gorgeous. Dr. Delaney is lovely as well. I'd love to have a Doctor named Dr. Delaney.

I like Beckett too! Baudelaire is too Lemony Snickett for me. I can't take it seriously in life. Perhaps Beauregard?
Montgomery is too complicated, which may not make much sense to you.

I'm curious as to why you're changing your middle, and last name. I too am planning to change my name entirely though. So I'm very curious to your reasons. Especially the last name.

I have a whole list of surnames, I'm going to go find it and list the best ones for Madison and that are 2 syllables.

Something that starts with R. Madison Roscow. Ross for a nick name. Dr. Roscow. Or Madison Roderick. Rod for a nickname. Dr. Roderick also has a pleasing sound. Yes definitively Madison Roderick. If you need a middle name something with two syllables. Madison Lila Roderick. Madison Christine Roderick. Madison Renee Roderick. Madison Ayla Roderick. All of them sound really good.
