Aria - Not fond of it. Sounds weak. Prefer Arielle or Aurora.
Callista/Kallista nn Calla or Kali - Callista and Calixta are both nice. Calantha is probably my favourite Cali-name.
Elyse/Elise - Never have liked this one but its tasteful.
Genevieve - Like very much, but not more than Vivienne.
Lyra - Like well enough. Prefer a lot of other L names to it though.
Oralie - Dislike all the Oralie/Aurelie names. Opal is nice?
Paris - Prefer Pallas.
Ruby - I want to like it more than I do. As it is, I like other gem names more. But Ruby is the popular one so I don't think people will think it's yuck.
Tabitha - Love it.
Thalia - Love it, but like Tahlia/Talia even more. Thalia is good though.
Vivienne/Vivianna - Love Vivienne. Like Viviana with one n more than two.
Zara - Love. A lot.
Zoe - Like a lot but not love as much as Zara.
I think my top three are Vivienne, Zara, and Tabitha. Genevieve doesn't quite crack the top three.

Well Aria and Ruby are right up there for me because I'm due with an Arya Ruby in September!
I also love Lyra because of the Phillip Pullman books- she is a wonderful, strong female character- my only reservation is that it sounds a bit like Liar, which is why I didn't use it, but It has been on our list
Also, I think Tabitha s really cute!
I would only use Genevieve if I were actually going to use the name itself, because you can't make people automatically getthat her name is Genevieve but you always call her Viva, you know what I mean?
Plus from what I've read on here- Genevieve has so many nn's already, and that isn't the most obvious one.
It's just my personal preference, but I believe in giving the child the name you intend to call her, because that is obviously the one you like best
Viva is a name in its own right though- you could totally use that :-)Mum to Evie Delilah and another baby girl on the way in September 2012! Self confessed birth and name nerd!

Aria-nms and never will be. It's all boy for me.
Callista/Kallista nn Calla or Kali-I loved this name when I was younger.
Elyse/Elise-hate it.
Genevieve (DH loves this I would ONLY use it with the plan to call her Viva in everyday life.)- the possibility of people callin her Jenna or Jenny makes me cringe.
Lyra-LOVE IT
Oralie-I have considered it but it's just too close to orally.
Paris-too tied to Hilton. You have such better options on this list!
Ruby-love it.
Tabitha-this was the name of my childhood pet rabbit so I'm on the fence. On one hand it's cute and ive always liked it. On the other hand it reminds me of rabbits and hipsters haha
Thalia-cute but plain. I know so many Thalias.
Vivienne/Vivianna-getting a little too popular for my taste.
Zara-cute, will age well.
Zoe-nms but it's ok.Cora Vespertine
Ivy Beatrix • Adlai Wolf

Aria - I think this name is going to zoom up the charts. When I first heard it, I actually hated it, but now I think it's very dainty and pretty.
Callista/Kallista - I like this. It has a lively, fun, energetic sound. Calla/Callie/Lissy are all cute nns. I like the "C" spelling MUCH better.
Elyse/Elise - prefer "Elise" spelling, but as you can see, I'm biased. I really like this name (my middle name!). I also like it's variations - Liesl, Elsie, Eloise etc...
Genevieve - it's alright. Can sound a little bit pretentious. Lots of cute nicknames available with this one though. But if you ONLY like it for one of its nicknames, maybe pass this one by?
Lyra - love! It goes on and off my list.
Oralie - Orally? Gross. Orla is the closest thing I can think of that doesn't sound icky.
Paris - tacky.
Ruby - cute, with a very little-girlish image. I LOVE the idea for a baby/girl, but I don't know how well this one ages...
Tabitha - I simultaneously like AND associate with a cat.
Thalia - pretty. I prefer Talia.
Vivienne/Vivianna - Vivienne is okay - very sophisticated sounding. I think Vivianna is a little over-board.
Zara - Very vivacious sounding - spunky and lively.
Zoe - such a cute little name with a big personality.
My top 5 favourites from your list:
1. Thalia (or Talia)
2. Callista
3. Lyra
4. Elise
5. Zara
My LEAST favourites in order: Oralie, Paris, Kallista.
