Sorry, to me, even though it has a different history, all I see is Lennon, and I can't imagine that on a girl at all. Lennon almost feels hyper masculine, what with its association to John Lennon and all. I would pair it with a very feminine name if you do use it, though--I like Lennan Juliet best from your combos, but Lennan Genevieve would work as well.
Good luck!Ashley

I don't particularly like John Lennon and I definitely don't like Vladimir Lenin and I don't really think Lennan works for anybody as a name, boy or girl.
Lennox isn't my taste but at least further from those associations.
I dearly love Leontine and Leonora for a girl but that might be too far from an edgy androgynous feel?

Lennan is masculine, I can't see it on a girl. Lennon is also masculine, both have different meanings, but both are for boys. I don't think it works on a girl.
EDIT:
I also personally hate people taking boy names and making them girl names, and vice versa, so I am biased on that. It's a pet peeve of mine. Especially when dealing with other cultures, because it just seems rude to that culture.Last edited by catloverd; June 13th, 2012 at 04:54 PM.
