    Noel?

So recently, I've really been thinking over the name Noel for a boy; pronounced nole (silent e, as in hole). I can't seem to think of middle names that would go well and flow well with this name, except I thought of Noel Andrew. Any suggestions and what do you think of that particular combination? Also, I'd love to see what you think of the name! Thanks in advance

I knew a girl named Noel (yes, spelled like that) in high school, and I've never met a boy with that name, so it feels very feminine to me.

I don't hate the idea of it pronounced like mole, but it just seems rather dated and sad. I'd prefer Cole or Noah.

Andrew goes well with it though.

I knew a Noel in elementary school. He was a quiet, nice boy so that's my association with the name. What about

    Noel Asher
    Noel Conrad
    Noel Frederick
    Noel Mark
    Noel Philip
    Noel Richard
    Noel Simon
    Noel Tobias

I think Noel Andrew sounds good, although Noel isn't my style, I think it's a good name.

I like how the name Noel sounds, especially with a great mn like Andrew. However because of the girls called Noel I have met, I would read and automatically pronounce the name as "No-ell" (as in the christmas carol!)

    Some middle name suggestions:
    *Noel Grey
    *Noel Austin
    *Noel Rhys
    *Noel Robert
    *Noel Frederik
I also like Noel Philip, as suggested above

Noel Andrew is still my favourite though!

or consider Noah or Nate as the first name instead?

I love Noel. The combo Noel Andrew is great. Noel rhymes with mole, Noelle is the Christmas carol. Noel is so much better than Noah, I say stick with Noel. Noah is highly overdone.

Noel Andrew sounds nice, they fit together well. I went to school with a Noel, he was funny, smart and well-liked, I have a good male association to the name.

Why not spell is Nole instead? Noel makes me pn it no-ell, like it is supposed to be pn and is very christmasy. It also looks feminine.
