Still searching for Mattie's sister

I've posted a few times but we still can't settle on a name we love. I've gotten a lot of really great suggestions from everyone on here so far but I'm still feeling lost. I'm wondering if I've limited myself to only vintage nickname names by choosing Mattie Mae for my first daughter. Here are the names my husband and I both like:

Effie

Mabel (nn Maeby)
Amelia or Emilia
Sophie (although he had a dog named Sophie and I have a 2nd step-cousin named Sophie)

These are names my husband will not even consider:

Cora
Leila or Layla
Felicity
Tess or Tessa

Names we might consider:
Juliet
Vivian
Willa
Annabel
Liv
Olivia
Emma
Sylvie
Kate


He really likes Willow (I don't), Abigail and Effie but I'm concerned about it being too weird. I do not like Elizabeth.

Mattie Mae is adorable, but I think you've got some great contenders on your list. I don't think that you need to stick to nicknames, but I do think the vintage feel should be strong. I also think that you could use a nickname but have a longer name if you like both. From your list, I think Sadie, Emilia (nn Millie?), Sophie and Juliet sound great with Mattie Mae. I also really like Lou (or even Lulu) as a nickname, but prefer Louise or Louisa as a full name.

I agree you're not limited. I love all your "names we might consider," esp Willa and Juliet! I also love Annabelle, Amelia, Charlotte and Sophie, from your lists. Ok, I think Mattie Mae and Willa are adorable!

From your lists, I like Aria, Isla, Charlotte, Libby, Amelia, Sophie, Juliet, Vivian, Annabelle and Sylvie. What about Ivy, Georgina, Beth, Bonnie or Dinah?

I like Willa, Isla and Mabel (though not Maeby, since it just sounds like a lifetime of indecision). Vivian and Sylvie are lovely too.
