Not ready to close the baby name books.

DH and I were going to start trying to conceive in August so I stopped my bc early to regulate but I'm having some early symptoms of pregnancy already. I'll be taking tests today. We had names picked out but I'm feeling like I want to keep looking, just in case I find a name that's even more perfect. We have 2 sons, Pilot David Patrick and Dexter Audio. For a boy we have picked Revel Grimm. Which I'm still in love with. And for a girl we had Marigold Whimsy nn Goldie which I am rethinking.

My problem with the girls name is that I really like shorter names. One or two syllables. I like Goldie. But Goldie doesn't go with Whimsy, which I am stuck on and love. I really want a quirky, whimsical, name for my girl but every name I seem to pick seems too serious for me. I also want something to tie the very different Pilot to the very known Dexter.

Here is what I have for my girls list. Please tell me what impressions they give you.

Marigold Whimsy- DH loves it and said it was the cutest name ever. Which make me smile but don't really feel that it goes with Pilot and Dex. Do you?

    Norna Plum

Osley Bluebird-Is Osley too masculine? What about Oslie?

Sojourn Bellamy- Always been a favorite but always seemed too serious for me? Sojourn Whimsy?

Revelry- kinda take away the chance of using Revel for a boy in the future and it's also long.

Lorna Pea- DH love the middle name Pea. I do too but it would never go with a golden first name.

Boheme- This name was on my list for my last pregnancy in January 2011 which ended in miscarriage. I am Bohemian and Rent is my favorite musical of all time so the name seems fitting for me BUT, Rebecca Woolf got to it before me. While this wouldn't normally bother me if a blogger had used a name, Rebecca will know what I name my baby and I don't want her to think I stole it from her even if I had it on my list before. Am I being crazy? Maybe I can use it as a middle name...

So I am open to suggestions. I really need a name that seems virtually unused. IDK why but that's how I am..

What about Fern? Short and unexpected. Or Plum as a first name. Do your boys have celeb baby names? They sound so familiar.

I do love Magnolia. In fact, I'm a sucker for most flower names. Something about them feels wild and free. But its 4 syllables which for some reason, deters me from it. Also, I'm worried that flowers that weren't so popular are going to start becoming more popular. Including Marigold.

I do love Plum as a first name but I kind of want to avoid repeating first letters in all the kids, as for the celeb thing.Yes there are celeb babies names Pilot Inspektor and Audio Science but I wasn't aware of Pilot Inspektor when I named him. My grandfather was a pilot so it was to honor him without naming my baby Gary and as for Dexter... we picked his name becasue it was literally the ONLY name we could agree on. DH's name is David Adam and he wanted to give him the same initials. DH is a music producer hence Audio. It was weird that they both ended up with celeb names and i get comments on that a lot.

alzora- From your list I like Nona/Nonie -interesting.
Prairie- love this. kinda forgot about it. Maybe i vetoed it because of the P like Pilot.
Golla Bee- I don't like Golla but I do like Bee for the middle name. I was thinking yesterday about Goldie Bee Whimsy. But then it sounded like a sentence when i said it. I still think it cute though.

From the last two comments i really like...

Larkspur- it's actually on my list paired with Annelie but I'm not 100% on it.
Cinder- love it but I'm trying to avoid the er ending because last name is Miller and we already broke that rule with Dexter.
Honey- love this but I call DH Hunny and always have. Confusion central.
Whisper- again the er ending. but I really adore this.
Minnow- I'm really falling for this for a girl. I always liked it for boy but I never thought of using it on a girl. I love ow endings. But does Minnow Miller sound right? What middle name?
Petal- too many similar letters to Pilot. same reason I vetoed Tulip.
Clover- tears... I love this. No I LOVE this but DH doesn't. He probably won't like Minnow either. Plus the er ending. Clover Miller. But this is so fitting because it will be our 4th pregnancy.

So added to my hopeful list... Minnow.

I'm loving the suggestions. I"d love more thanks.
