Help with final list for new baby girl!!
Hi berries!
I posted a while back with a few names we were toying with for our baby girl due 1st August and you were all v helpful so thought I would see what your thoughts are on our refined and hopefully final list! Please vote on your favourite first and middle name combo. And please feel very free to give suggestions for anything you feel might work better that is in a similar style etc. We were all set on Catherine as a middle (family name) but not sure that goes so well with all our choices so any suggestions there are particularly welcome. We live in Northern Ireland so popularity of some of the names is not so much of an issue as some other locations. Last name begins with S, is two syllables and ends -on.
Thank you so much!!

Thanks for voting in the poll everyone! Anyone have any reasons or opinions about their choices? I'd love to hear some feedback!

I chose Lucia Belle, Mia Catherine and Violet Elise.
Although I prefer the Lu shah pronounciation of Lucia, Lu see ah is very pretty as well. I chose Belle mainly because it had better flow, and also because Rose is a tad overused as a middle name. I love Rose as a first name by the way if you are wondering.
Mia Catherine is stunning, and I think this is my favourite combo out of all of them.
Violet is a pretty name, not my favourite flower name but a pretty name netherless. I was tempted to pick Violet Belle but I thought Elise softened it.
Overall you have some lovely options, Isabella is a pretty name also but I think I would have preferred it with another name. Rose although lovely is too overused these days and a bit predictable. Catherine too is lovely and although I am reminded of Catherine of Aragorn and her mother in that combo which makes it rather regal, the flow wasn't particularly good. I might suggest Isabella Cate, which sort of carries Catherine into a new form without flow problems.
Congrats on you both and I hope all goes well.

I picked one combo for each name.

1 Lucia Catherine - I don't know how well Lucia would sound with your "S" surname but I love this combo!
2 Violet Grace - soft and pretty with a vintage charm
3 Mia Catherine - I like the look and sound of this combo but I think Lucia is more substantial
4 Isabella Rose - a beautiful albeit megapopular comboAll the best,
Mischa.

I'm not sure I like Lucia with an S last name, that's a lot of S sounds. What if she has a lisp?
Almost the same issue with Isabella, though not as pronounced.
Of your choices I like Violet Grace the best.
The best combo with Catherine is Mia Catherine in my opinion, though I don't think Violet Catherine sounds bad at all.

pet peeves: nicknames as given names; unconventional spellings; masculine names on girls
not-so-guilty pleasures: five-syllable girls' names; virtue and nature names; over-the-top antique names for boys
(if i repeat name suggestions in a thread, it's because i like them! no apologies here for repeats of great names!
