I really love the name Genevieve lately- especially all the various nn options- Eve, Evie, Gen, Genna, Neve, Nevie.
Victoria- very commanding name, Vicky sounds a bit dated as a nn. Tori is an OK nn.
Alexandra- Again, I like all the nn options: Allie, Lexie, Xandie, Alexa, Alexi.
Miranda reminds me of the Sx in the City character. Not many nn options: Mindy? Mandy? Mira? Randy?
Out of the 4- Genevieve and Alexandra are my picks, with Victoria a close third. If Victoria had the mn Rose I would pick it as #1.Current favourite boy names: Cormac Flynn Nathaniel (Nate) Oliver Alexander Liam Hugo Isaac Leo
Current favourite girl names: Phoebe Jane Kiara Skye Phoebe Sophie Charlotte Eliza Violet Annabelle Ruby Chloe Elodie Rose Gemma Grace Tessa Kate Brynn Felicity Seraphine Shelby Eloise

I happen to love Miranda and think it's underappreciated. I don't think it sounds dated as it was never too popular. I also love Genevieve - beautiful. I'm not a fan of the Alex- names; I actually do find them dated but I also just personally dislike Alex for a girl. Not a huge Victoria fan, but that's because I don't like Tori.
So my vote is for Miranda or Genevieve

I am not a fan of Vicky or Tori , so I can't get behind Victoria (which, as a full name, is lovely, but even if you're not a nickname person, easy nicknames are Hard for people to avoid). Alex is not a favorite, either...but I think Miranda is sweet and subtle (and Mira/Miri is great!) and Genevieve is really lovely (and Evie/Ginny/Vivi are all fun). Plus--and I know this is going to be a major deciding factor--Genevieve was my French name in 7th grade.
(It's soo pretty said the French way, in all seriousness!)
