Are Bridget and Callie too out-of-date?

Bridget and Callie are oldies on my list. I still like them. But since they were on so long ago, I am wondering if they just sound out of date? Or might be good fresh new choices? Thanks!

I don't think so, but prefer Callie as a nn myself. Just my opinion, but Bridget is lovely.

I definitely think they're still usable. Bridget seems to be gaining more and more favor on these boards, and Callie is very much in style, although I agree with @namelover77--I would use a full name for Callie, and then use that as a nn (like Caroline, Callista, Calliope, Calypso, Calla, Calandra, etc.).

Bridget is wonderful. Classy, strong, and feminine all at the same time.
Would Callie be her full name, or a nickname?

I like Bridget. I agree with the pp that it sounds strong yet feminine.
Callie, I would prefer Callie as a nickname.

Brigitta and Calla sound fresher to me.

Not at all. Bridget was a top contender for my older daughter for a long time....actually up til about a month before she was born. I only decided against it because one of my ex-stepmothers was named Gidget and I decided it was too similar (although I don't think my dad ever made the connection). I think the combo I had ready was Bridget Elise...or Bridget Claire.

As for Callie...I think it's a cute nickname, but I don't think it has enough "ooomph" to be a given name.

I love Bridget! Callie does have a dated feel for me, but I think it would be cute as a nn for something else...just not sure what.
