Dear friends,

need some sound advice! my spouse and i didnt get a chance to pick a name for our dd. But at the nick of the time at the hospital before leaving since we had to pick a name we chose the name Tamanna. Should be pronouced as Taman-na. Its not Ta-manna. she is as of 2 days old.

Now we both are so unsure! Today we heard the nurse at pediatrician's office say it and it just didnt sound right. We are afraid that she might have to explain at each step of the way of her life how to pronounce her name.

As a mom, i myself have a hard name and at every step of any process i keep having to explain people how to pronounce it, it bugs me, but i've accepted it. But now i feel i rushed into it, we are in split mind about how to deal with this. Can somebody throw some insight and advice me how to deal with this confusion. Feel so sad
