K.s.f.
So I found out recently that we are expecting in January! We are very excited but we know naming this baby is going to be tough. We just don't agree on names. For a girl, DH really wanted to honor his late mother. I am not crazy about her first name but I agreed initials would be a great way to honor her. Unfortunately I realized afterwards that I'm not really crazy about any names that start with K! The few I have suggested he shot down. I am looking for suggestions from the experts!
I like fairly uncommon and unusual names. I am open to unisex names for girls and a lot of the time I actually prefer them. I don't like really weird spellings (but then again sometimes I do! ha) and I hate spelling "C" names with "K". He actually has similar tastes but we just can't seem to pick one together. Here are some of the names one of us liked just so you can get an idea of our style.
Oh and we also really like the name Savannah for a middle name. We wanted a southern, girly middle name to contrast the first name. We are open to suggestions to a middle name though if you think something will sound better!
Kerrighan (I LOVE, but he doesn't)
Keeghan (I hadn't decided on a spelling but he doesn't like)
Kaegan (he said it was OK)
Kinston (he suggested but I think it sounds made up)
Kensley (I like but I'm afraid it is becoming popular)
Kenley (too popular)
Thanks!

Hmm...this is tough. Here's what I came up with, but not sure they really work with what you're looking for (these are all fairly common, at least where I live- Midwest US).
Kasey
Kelly
Kelsey
Kylie
Kristen
Kathryn/Katherine
Kailyn
Keely
Kaitlyn
Kessa
Kyra
I'm having trouble thinking of unisex names that start with a "K." The only one I came up with was Kasey (I know 2 boys and several girls with this name), but I'm not sure if it should technically be spelled with a "C."
I think Savannah is a beautiful middle name, so I don't have any other suggestions.
Good luck!

Kerrigan and Keegan don't have "h" in them and Keagan is usually spelled this way. Well, "K" isn't my favourite letter of the alphabet but here are some other suggestions.
Kynaston
Kinborough
Kensington
Keeley
Kerensa (may not be ideal with Savannah in the middle)
Katriel
Keaton
Kelsey
Kendall
Keyne
Kiley/Kylie
Kinsey
Keira/Kira
Kelby
Kelton
Kempton
Kiran
KyloeAll the best,
Mischa.

Kerensa is my favourite of those so far suggested. Kallisto is a legitimate feminine name, and means "most beautiful" in Greek, which I adore. The rest end up looking like rubbish made up to fit the trend of substituting K & Y for C & I.
S names:
Susannah
Scarlett
Sophronia
Sapphira
Soraya
Samara
F names:
Flora
Florence
Fiona
Faye
Fenella

I've met a Keionna in London and I thought it was fabulous on her. She was half Japanese, so beautiful.

I think Kerrighan would be nice since its a family name and maybe you could do the nickname Kerri? I also like the suggestion of Kensington. I actually posted a thread on the names Kensington and Kensley a few days ago. Judging by the reactions I got I don't think either are very popular
I actually decided I like them. I'm not sure I could use them. I like Kensington with the nickname Kensi. I like Kylie, Kyrie, and Kierstyn/Kirsten. Good luck on deciding!
