I'm working on a novel right now, and I'll set it up a little in case it helps.
My novel first takes place in 2058, the world is a mess, and resources are depleating due to the 9 billion people now living on Earth. We are also rapidly losing fresh water, which eventually brings up war. The only hope really we have left is in the scientists who have built a time machine to send families willing to go back in time and prevent what is happening.
Anyways I have a little more to work on and I plan on adding a little romance in this, so that's where I need your help. My female lead is named Lark ( the songbird, and also from the saying "happy as a lark".) ( I thought it would be ironic because by 2058 in my novel there is no longer songbirds as they have all died, and therefore there are not any Meadow Larks to be happy.)
characteristics of Lark: enthusiastic, generous, good with people, intelligent, and persuasive.
The male lead I at first named Charlie, then Jonah, then David, but I'm looking for a more futuristic name that would go well with Lark. any suggestions?

Oooo what about Phoenix or Jett or Vance/Lance or Axel or Rian? it sounds so much better than any of my novel attempts. mine never seem to go further than 2 chapters or so then they just die anyways good luck, msg me if you have any writing tips

I agree the name Jay would be really sweet, and seems to fit his character...then again Kai is really good.You really helped thanks for all the ideas
