Thoughts on the name Miguel
I love love love this name for a boy! But I want other peoples thoughts on it as well. For instance is it okay to name your son Miguel even if you don't have any spanish or portuguese speaking origins?
Some of my favorites-
Boys: Theodore (Theo), Reid, Maxim (Max), Sawyer, Finn
Girls: Faye, Nixie, Daphne, Flora

Miguels's was this arsty jazz bar I used to live by, so I just think of the name as cool and creative.
I don't see it as being a problem, I actually really like it.25 year-old name lover and cat-momma to Clover and Calvin

This. You can use it but I wouldn't, personally. It seems like a very quintessentially Spanish/Hispanic name.
