Sorry my original post was so confusing and vague, I edited it. I didn't mean I still want to use Clover, in fact I have no desire to use it anymore. I meant there's ANOTHER name that I haven't seen anyone in real life use as of yet and I'm afraid THAT name will get used by a celeb, with the most likely person to use it being Drew Barrymore. Sorry for the confusion!

It's a bit much to be so afraid of people "stealing" your favorite name that you won't post it on a forum for discussing names. (Also, I want to know what it is.
) If it's as unusual as you say, it's not in danger of becoming the next Jessica or Isabella any time soon. And unless it meets certain criteria that make it appealing to vast numbers of people in many segments of society, it likely never will be. I worry about things like rising popularity and associations with celebuspawn when naming characters, though - you don't want to give a character a name that's been in the news recently.
That said, I'll take a wild stab that Drew would like the name Maisie. Or Russet, Sorrel, or Clarabelle. (Or Ombre, after her mom's bad hairdo - jk.)

I know blairx, but I'm kind of a bit much myself! Let's just say it's a nature name that's been mentioned in at least two separate Nameberry articles in the past year, and it's not that crazy or unusual and does meet certain loathesome trendiness factors that would probably make it trend into the general population within a year if a big celeb did indeed use it. I would try to move on to something more strange and unusual, but nothing else is really calling to me, and plus it's kind of meaningful because its two parts would be naming her after my father in law's late twin sister and my father's mother.
I'll give you some of the other names on my list, some of the weirder ones that I'm less attached to/more confident will not become popular. My slightly-distant second favorite name right now is Starling, which I like because it sounds like what they'd call a spacechild in a David Bowie song plus it's a bird name, but my husband doesn't like it at all. I like Magenta but am afraid they'd call her Madge like Madonna's self-styled British nickname, or Jenny, which is cute but one of the original trendy names from my own generation. I like Frostine, but it might be a bit too crazy even for me. I love the name Bunny, but my last name starts with "M," so "B" names are kind of a bad idea. I find Begonia pretty cool, too, but veto it for the same reason. And I used to love Pearl (my three daughters that I thought I'd have before I started having kids were going to be Violet, Clover, and Pearl), but that's becoming too popular for my taste and sounds too close to the brusquely manly name Earl besides.
Hope that helped a little!

My thoughts exactly about Frostine. I don't know if I could even use it as a character name, as people in English-speaking countries would think of Candyland and/or consider it unrealistic. :/ But hey, maybe it could work as a middle (or 2nd or 3rd middle) name for a girl.
There are some naturey names on my long list here, but I can't think of them all off the top of my head:

A few that have been on my mind recently are Hyacinth / Jacinta and Tansy.
Since you used to like Pearl, what about Garnet, Peridot, Coral, Beryl, Sapphira?

Whatever your new favorite name is, use it! I think you are worrying a little too much : ) Has it even been announced she is having a girl? I get that many baby names celebrities choose become popular, but many of them do not.
My guess about what Drew Barrymore might name her child is as good as anyone's. I could see her going with some type of nature name bc she seems like a free spirit like Willow, Rosemary, Juniper, Magnolia, Olive, Maple, Lark, Rhea or Wren. Or maybe go with a feminine vintage name like June, Beatrice, Harriett, Violet, Mable, Agnes or Ruby. Maybe she'll go with a unisex or male name similar to her own, or like Jessica Simpson used Maxwell for a girl.

LMAO.
First, can I tell you how funny I find this thread?
OMG, Drew Barrymore is going to steal my baby name. I JUST KNOW IT!!
Lmao, especially how there's multiple posts on it. Do you even know if Drew is having a girl?
With that said I could def see her choosing Clover. Maybe she's perusing this board right now getting ideas from this very thread (so you better not post your real choice!) JK. I'm quite curious what name you have in mind that you are so afraid she is going to choose. Hmm, if we guessed it right, would you tell us?
The most up and coming nature name I can think of is Juniper. What else, hmm, maybe Lilac, Meadow. I've heard Primrose a few times (very saccharine).

Yeah, I would have said Juniper, too. I wouldn't worry about that becoming popular.

Anyway, I think you like pretty unique names and the chance
