Thanks everyone! Out of the three I asked suggestions for- Lena, Mina, and Nina- my favorite nn is now Mina. Of course, my name list changes all the time, so who knows what I'll end up with. My top two to get to Mina are Minerva and Milena. I also thought about Marina after seeing the name on someone else's thread. I love Minerva but I'm not sure what the reaction to it would be as a fn in the US. Does anyone know any Minervas here? It also seems like more of an "old lady" name to me, which I also feel about my own fn, and haven't liked that as I have grown up.

I only know one lady named Minerva she is pretty old, but it's also a restaurant in my hometown. I think Minerva is stunning though!

I don't know any Minervas personally, but it is an old family name for me. My great grandmother (or possibly great-great--I'd have to look it up) is Cora Minerva, which I always thought was pretty impressive. She could also be Minnie or Eva/Evie, both of which are just as sweet as Mina, imo! I have to say I'm personally biased in favor of Milena, though--I love that name!
