    Blair on a boy

I know that the character on Gossip Girl is quite well-known and that could be a bit problematic. I don't think that it would be the end of the world to have a boy and a girl in the same class with the same name. I'm just not bothered by that at all. I'm just looking for outside opinions on the name itself.

What do you think? Blair on a boy?

Blair is cool for a boy! I like it for a girl, too, but I am impressed when I see it on a boy. I think of Blair Underwood, who makes it quite dapper and handsome, imo.

I love it! Blair on a boy is in my top 3 for boys! Honestly, I don't think Gossip Girl is going to be one of the great classics in a few years time. No one is going to remember that particular character.

And Blair Redford! Hello! Hottie McHotpants

I think Blair is such a handsome name on a boy.

I've known two guys named Blair and no girls, so to me it is a boy name. I think it is fine both ways.

I LOVE Blair for a boy! I have considered it for my list several times and it is always on the brink of coming back. I think of Blair Underwood and Blair Redford so I definitely think it is a handsome name! I have only known one girl with the name, she used the Blaire spelling though. I cannot say that I really liked her so that makes me like it even more for a boy. I am usually a fan of very masculine names on boys so this is very different for me but I really love it!

I've never met a guy named Blair, but I'd be fine with it. However, I tend to like sort of feminine guy names.

Also, I like Blaine and Blaise for a boy.

It's totally girl to me. The first time I ever heard of Blair was a character on a show, he was the uber popular type. And even then I thought it was a girly name.

It's too soft and airy for a boys name imo.

I would totally have assumed that Blair *was* a boy (but I've never seen Gossip Girl). I've known 3 male Blairs and zero female Blairs. I also don't think it's a pretty name for a girl, at all.
