Moderated Posting

I'm just wondering why I all of a sudden am getting a message that I need a moderator to approve my post before it appears on the site? This is on a thread that I started, and it is the only thread/comment that it has ever happened to me with. Has anyone else run into this?

I just got the same message, which I have never had before, and didn't have a few days ago, and I find it totally bizarre. I don't uinderstand why this has been implemented, or if this is a glitch of some sort? I mean, why bother having the option of reporting posts if al of them are going to be moderated anyway?
Hugh/nameberry - any explanation?

I've just gotten the message today, I don't know what it means, maybe it's just a glitch?

From my limited understanding if certain terms or words are used in a post, it will automatically have to be approved by an Admin/Mod before showing. Certain words trigger the moderation, sometimes swear words or things with adult content.

It happened to me here too a few weeks back, I posted about how I wanted to co-sleep with future children I might have in the Momberries section and I got a message saying my post needed to be approved. No idea why.

Hmm, that's interesting. I don't believe I put anything inappropriate in the post, and I also don't think it was ever put up, which frustrates me a little more. Oh well, I guess it's just time to move on.

I just got this message for the first time today too after trying to post a baby name game post! Pretty sure I didn't toss in any naughty words!

I got the message for the first time today too. There weren't any bad words in my post, but there was a link to a site where someone was pronouncing a name, and when I took that like out, it let me repost fine. It wasn't Forvo, it was one I've not used before, so maybe it wasn't a good site and nameberry didn't approve?
